- Patient presented with a 5 day history of dizziness, muscle aching and fever. For the past 4 days, the patient experienced intermittent high fever with chills, headache and weakness. - Based on history and laboratory findings, the patient was diagnosed with Plasmodium Vivax malaria. The patient had a history of malaria infections and exposure in endemic areas. - The patient was also diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis. Management involved rehydration, antibiotics and monitoring electrolytes. - Atrial fibrillation was also noted on examination but with stable hemodynamics. Management focused on risk reduction, stroke prevention and rate control therapy.
