Preschool Year 2
Dear Parents,
16 -27 November
Activities we will be doing in Preschool
 This week we will start making a nativity scene and talk to the children
about the Christmas Story of Jesus’ birth.
 The children will start preparing for the Christmas play by learning new
songs, actions and words. The nativity play will be on Thursday
December 17 at 9.15 am – more details to follow.
 In small groups we will continue to listen and say the initial sounds of
words. You can continue to support this at home by talking to your
children about the initial sounds of familiar objects and names.
Activities to do at home
 Sing songs with your children – traditional nursery rhymes are good but
there are lots of fun songs you can sing with them. Moving to recorded
music is fun too (many of our children love dancing to the songs from
frozen!)

 We would like to say a really big THANK YOU for all your generous support
for the Children in Need cake sale. We raised £270.00 and had great fun
too! The amount of cakes made and bought was amazing and it was great
seeing everyone having so much fun in the rainbow café. We even had
our own Pudsey Bear (in the form of Wendy of Bilby who dressed up for
the occasion) who had fun dancing with the children and acting out
stories.
