As a young boy, I have always had an interest in Music. When my family would go on trips and
vacations out of state I would listen to music on the car radio and try to memorize all the lyrics,

unable to care for them properly. They welcomed them with open arms and raised both of them as if
they were their own. My Great grandfather was named James Allen Barnes, he was one of 5 sibling
who was born in March of 1913. My Great grandmother was named Miriam Etta Troxler, she was one
of 4 sisters who was born in December 1915. James and Miriam were both born in Greensboro, N.C.
My Great grandparents both had suffered great loses at very young ages that would change their lives
overnight. James and Miriam fathers who names we do not know were shot on accident during a
hunting trip and died. Their fathers were not on the same hunting trip and did not know each other.
After the deaths of their fathers, James had to quit school at the age of 15 to help his mother pay bills
by delivering newspapers and Miriam and her sisters were split up to live in different homes. The
main reason Miriam and her sisters were separated was due her mother not being able to support all

Cuban Embargo
1. Economic sanctions placed on Cuba by the US as a result of cold war era problems have resulted in
a halt in Cuban economic growth. This problems included their friendliness with the soviets, and the
missile crisis as a result of this. Other factors that contributed to the hatred between the two nations,
the one having the most effect being the travel and economic embargo placed on the island nation.
This occurred shortly after Fidel Castro s entrance into power, mainly on his decision to nationalize
private US oil companies. The embargo that has been in place for more than 54 years has not only
been widely rejected globally, due to its effect on the island s economy which has led to a reduction in
the quality of life of many working class Cubans and its effect it has had on the establishment of the

The result of this was three Cuban prisoners were released by the US and by the release of Alan Gross
a US citizen. The US gov has been considering reopening their embassy in Havana as a result of this.
2. The UN has always urged for the embargo to be lifted by the US imperialists with the first vote
having been in 1992. This has been reflected continuously by the vote of the general assembly to have
the US lift the embargo. In the 193 nation assembly 188 voted in favor of lifting the embargo with the
USA and Israel opposed. Through the years it has been made clear that the world is in favour of the
lift of the embargo which would not only help reestablish diplomatic relations, but would also allow
the Cuban economy to develop once again. Many nations have praised president Obama s and
President Raul Castro s actions to reestablish diplomatic relations between the two providing a path to

Payless after settlement also started selling look alikes logo which was violating the rule of their
agreement. For violating rule by payless, Adidas has been awarded $305 million which was calculated
$100 million for each stripe.

Have you ever heard the old wives tale about getting warts if you touch a toad? How about the
Chinese Folklore that says the toad is a sign of prosperity and financial blessings? I m not sure if the
people of Australia would see these creatures as a blessing. According to Claire Moodie with ABC
News, cane toads are spreading quickly through northern Australia and are leaving paths of

The cane toads in Australia has become a national difficulty. The Australian government has been
providing funds to help with catching and destroying these pests. Scientists have not been able to find
any kind of way to biologically control these toads. According to the Australian Government, Cane
toads have an impact on Australian Government controlled lands, including Kakadu National Park,
several World Heritage Areas and Indigenous Protected Areas . The Australian government has written
a policy on cane toads, has started a cane toad advisory group, funded research on controlling and
collecting the toads, funded research on the impact of the toads on the Australian habitats and
economy, and has educated the public about the toads and how to deal with them. In the future, the
government plans to continue to do these same things as eradicating the toads does not seem feasible.
