Analyze the Learner


My students are a group of 2nd grade general
education students. There are 18 students, 10
boys and 8 girls. They are between the ages of 7
and 8. 75% of the students are white and 25% of
the students are African American.
Main Objective


My students will learn to sign the alphabet,
numbers, and common sayings by; watching
videos of the american sign language alphabet
and numbers, by having conversations with each
other, and by playing the “fly swatter” game. This
will be completed by the end of the week with a
85-100 percent accurancy.
Day by Day


Day one: Who uses Sign Language?



Day two: Learn the Alphabet



Day three: How to introduce yourself



Day four: Common everyday sayings (Thank you,
Bathroom, Your Welcome,etc.)



Day five: Learn how to count to 20
Technology


Videos made off of Imovie of me signing to the
class. These movies will be presented on the
smartboard in the classroom.



Have the words for the fly swatter game be a
word document presented on the smartboard.
