hose who have access to the World Wide Web.
3. This growth of technology and computing strength has resulted in an
expansion in recognition of distance education. Computer-
mediated communication (CMC) lets in and facilitates interaction between
distance learners via technologies such as email, Skype,

4. Instructional design and technology is the process of developing and
designing instruction. The technology portion of IDT refers to the use of
technology to develop, design, and implement the guidelines.
5. I would say IDT concentrates on finding problems which can be solved with
training. For example, a school that is implementing a new Learning
Management System (LMS) and they need to train faculty and staff on how
to use the LMS. An Instructional designer will design a training aid.
