2. How did I prepare: map plan
• I drew out a layout of the room and camera
positions in the chosen room. I made sure
there would be a large enough space so I
could use a multitude of shots. I considered all
the objects in the room and decided that I
would film at a diagonal line to the actors so
they could walk straight allowing for possible
pans and other shots.
3. How did I prepare: story board
• I also drew out a story board which allowed
me to plan what was going to happen and at
what stages. This also allowed me to manage
my time better so I could spend a few sessions
making the footage perfect and or ready to
use.
4. How did I prepare: Time management
• I made a list of things I would be doing each
session so I could keep track and use my time
efficiently to make sure everything was done
and I had time to check and recheck every
thing was of a good standard.
6. How did I prepare: camera
• The camera we used was a Sony CX 280. This
allowed us to film at 720p which allowed us to
film with the best quality. We used two of
these when filming to get the best free
flowing footage and making sure we only
needed one take in order to get both shots.
8. How did I prepare: Jessops TP 327
• This was the tripod we used. It was standard
tripod ( not a good one ) but it allowed
stability instead of using a shaky hand. It also
offered height as well making a varied amount
of shots easier to access.
9. How do I prepare: Final cut pro X
• I decided to use this editing software instead
of Imovie because it had more features and I
found easier to use as I had already used it
before.
10. How did I prepare: types of shot
• We started by deciding on the different types
of shot we were going to use. We debated on
using a pan due to there not being enough
space. We made use of the 180 degree rule
and match on action to show that the actors
were talking to each other.
