create a less formal outcome but also attracts the audience’s
attention. This is informal balance as there is no symmetry in
the picture and uses the rule of thirds to reveal the
background of the image. The minimum colour of the album
and the clothes that the artist is wearing suggests that he is a
pop artist.
Skrillex
This image of the artist “skrillex” indicates a scary and
dangerous type of person therefore his music would sound
quite scary and loud. There is direct mode of address as he is
looking straight at the camera therefore he seems to look like
he is looking straight at the audience when they get the CD.
There would have been a line of symmetry in the picture,
however this is not the case as he has one side of his hair
shaved off, which makes him appear unapproachable and
frightening. This connotes a genre of imperfect music and a
remix or dubstep type of sound.
