The image captured was clear, and with slight alterations with the contrast between
the phantom and the background the image was visible and to a high quality
standard. The s value used was 70, ensuring the highest quality photo was taken,
whilst ensuring the lowest possible dose to the patient. The phantom was placed
slightly towards the top of the image receptor however the hand was still entirely
visible in the final image.
I also believe I have gained an extensive knowledge and understanding on how the x
ray unit works and the processes in taking an x ray.
In the x ray theatre enclosed shoes were worn at all times, we also stood behind
lead lined glass when taking the images to ensure the lowest unnecessary exposure
to radiation. Along with this, radiation signs were turned on above the doors outside
whilst in the lab was in use alerting other people using the rooms that radiation was
in use. These safety procedures are extremely important in the lab as we are exposed
to large amounts of radiation during our time as radiographers.

Emotion obviously plays a vital role in the accounts of the survivors, yet can it be
considered when discussing the historical significanceof the murder of six million

Without So Much as Knocking; Americanized; and Breakthrough he used techniques
such as language, juxtaposition and metaphors to express his views about the
negative effects of consumerism, American influence and technology.
In the poem Enter Without So Much as Knocking , Bruce Dawe uses the language of
television to display the effect technology and advertisements had on daily Australian
life in the 1950 s. In the first stanza, Dawe wrote ...first thing he heard was Bobby
Dazzler on Channel 7: Hello, hello, hello all you lucky people... The stanza is
focused on a ten day old baby who has been taken home and the first thing he hears
is the catch phrase of a TV personality. This tells us that in Dawe s world, children
are exposed to the news and the power of ads as young as possible, to force them
into a life of technology and big companies. In stanza three, the language becomes
more demanding and jarring. Dawe uses capitalization, repetition and short

tested by calculating the density, an alkene test using Bromine Water, and
conducting both an IR and a H NMR spectra. The first test that was conducted was
comparing densities between our product and the known density of Limonene.
From our data, our product had a density of 0.815 g/mL, which is only 0.027 g/mL
off from Limonene s known density of 0.842 g/mL. Our density may even be
closer due to the inaccuracy of having less than one millimeter of product. Since our
density was only 0.027 g/mL off, our product seems to be Limonene, but more tests

As kids grow up you will notice that their parents are not quite sure what kind of
sport they want to sign them up for, so they enroll them in all of them hoping that
their child will find a sport that they will continue throughout their life. Kids usually
range in sports such as basketball, football, baseball, softball, soccer, dance, and
gymnastics. With every youth sportorganization comes the negatives and the
positives. The negative aspects are that parents can be hard on their children, and
receiving a participation trophy or ribbon even though they lost. The positives being
that they can begin healthy lifestyles by participating in youth sports. Physically they
get the required exercise they need, and will eventually continue that throughout their
life. Emotionally, they leave youth sports will a sense of accomplishment, and being
seen by college coaches to help boost their self esteem.
Parents will generally take the coaching position when their kid plays an organized
sport which can potentially be a bad thing. For example, my dad thought he needed
to coach me in every sport I played until I told him he needed to be a spectator
instead. After a while you will notice these parents become very competitive in
games that do not really matter to the kids playing because they are just happy to be
there. This can cause problems because when the kid of the coach will become mad
at their kid, and reprimand them for things the child might not even know that they
are doing

Water Supply In Canada Essay
Canada should do a Better Job Protecting Its Water Supply Since the start of time
human kind and all other living things on earth have been dependant on a clean
and smooth flowing water supply. Water is an essential part of survival on earth
and that has stood true since the start of time. As droughts around the world
increase and areas turn in to dust bowls the demand of exportation of water from
countries like Canada grows tremendously. Due to this I whole heartedly disagree
with the topic and in fact encourage the Canadian government to send large bulks
of water to areas of need. Statistically speaking Canada s water consumption levels
are very high. Canada owns about 9% of the world s freshwater while only having
1% of the world s population. An average Canadian uses about 1600 cubic meters of
water yearly, this is double how much the French use and 8 times the world average.

Another reason I am not in favor of Canada protecting its water supply is because
of the difference between us and others around the world. Considering currency
change and the amount of resources surrounding us, we have a lot more goods
including a strong water supply from the Atlantic, Arctic and Pacific oceans, the
Arctic ocean also leads in to the great lakes which is very beneficial to Canadians
from an economic standpoint. A research done proved that 20% of the world s
richest own about 86% of all goods on earth, while the 20% poorest own as little as
only 1% of the world s goods. If we were to use this information and applied that to
Canada vs The World we would all clearly understand that it is our duty as a nation
to unite together and create equality around the world by sharing goods such as
water. The earth is something we are all part of, when something goes wrong in one
