Sample Analysis Essay
Crafting an essay on the subject of "Sample Analysis Essay" can present its fair share of
challenges. Firstly, there's the inherent meta-cognitive hurdle of analyzing analysis itself. It
demands a nuanced understanding of the analytical process, which can be convoluted to
articulate coherently. Then there's the matter of originality; one must strive to offer fresh insights
amidst a sea of existing analyses, avoiding the pitfalls of clichГ©s and recycled ideas.
Moreover, navigating through the plethora of sample analyses available can be both a boon and a
bane. While they serve as valuable references, they also pose the risk of inadvertently
influencing one's perspective, leading to unintentional mimicry rather than genuine analysis.
Furthermore, the essay's structure is crucial. Balancing the introduction's hook with a clear thesis
statement, developing cohesive arguments in the body paragraphs, and concluding with a
succinct summary that reinforces the main points—all while maintaining a coherent flow—is
no small feat.
And let's not overlook the research aspect. Delving into the subject matter, gathering relevant
data, and discerning credible sources demand time and effort. Without diligent research, the
analysis risks superficiality, lacking the depth necessary for a compelling argument.
Additionally, there's the challenge of striking the right tone. An analysis essay necessitates a
balance between objectivity and subjectivity, requiring the writer to remain impartial while still
expressing their interpretation convincingly.
In essence, crafting an essay on "Sample Analysis Essay" requires finesse, critical thinking,
originality, meticulous research, and adept writing skills. It's a task that demands both creativity
and rigor, making it a formidable endeavor for many.

Disobedience In Paradise Lost
Have you ever seen a big red button that says do not push and then pushed it? We
have all been there; it was just too tempting to not push it, right? In John Milton s
Paradise Lost, mankind presses that big red button. Through Adam and Eve s free
will to eat from the Tree of Knowledge, they fall from Paradise. It is not like God
did not warn the pair; he made it abundantly clear that their one rule was to not eat
from the tree. God, being omniscient, knows that they will fall, but makes their
choice of disobedience an easy decision. Although God foresees the expulsion of
Adam and Evefrom the garden, they have free will and fall on their own; however,
God makes it too easy for Satan to succeed. God lets mankind fail through their own
choices. At the start of the epic, Milton asserts that Paradise Lostwill display Man s
first disobedience (1.1). Right from the get go, Milton claims that the fall is
mankind s fault, so we know that Man must have made their ill fated decision on
their own free will. Jumping forward to Book Three, God discusses the future of
mankind with the Son. Being all knowing, God can see the choice Adam and Eve
will make: Man will hearken to [Satan s] glozing lies... [and] will fall (3.93 95).
Despite knowing what is to come for the pair, God recognizes that mankind s fall is
a result of their own choices. God could have easily intervened and made the right
choice for them, but he wants Adam and Eve to have the free will to make their own
choices. In
Communism And Fascism Similarities
The difference between fascism and communism can be difficult to tell, other times it
s simple to tell. Fascism is a form of government in which the state has all the power.
Fascism is an authoritarian and nationalistic right wing system of government and
social organization. Communism is a form of socialism, that abolishes private
ownership of land. Communismis a member of the left wing system of government
and organization. While communism and fascism may be slightly similar, they are
different.
The idea of communism originated in a writing by Karl Marx, in which he explained
communism as a dictatorship of the proletariat. Although Marx, wrote of a perfect
dictatorship of the proletariat, this has sadly not been seen as possible. Throughout

Nathaniel Hathorne Research Paper
Conceived July 4, 1804, Nathaniel Hathorne was the main child of Captain Nathaniel
Hathorne and Elizabeth Clarke Manning Hathorne. (Hawthorne included the w to his
name after he moved on from school.) Following the passing of Captain Hathorne in
1808, Nathaniel, his mom, and his two sisters were compelled to move in with Mrs.
Hawthorne s relatives, the Mannings. Here Nathaniel Hawthorneexperienced
childhood in the organization of ladies without a solid male good example; this
environment may represent what biographers call his timidity and withdrawn identity.
This time of Hawthorne s life was blended with the delights of perusing and the
disdain of budgetary reliance. While he learned at an early age with Joseph E.
Worcester, an outstanding etymologist, he was not especially enamored with school.
A damage permitted him to remain home for a year when he was nine, and his initial
companions were books by Shakespeare, Spenser, Bunyan, and eighteenth century
writers.
Amid this time Mrs. Hathorne moved her family to arrive possessed by the Mannings

The introduction of their first youngster, Una, made Hawthorne at the end of the
day look for a fiscally secure occupation. With the assistance of his old companions,
Hawthorne was selected a surveyor for the port of Salem. His child, Julian, was
conceived in 1846. Despite the fact that the new occupation facilitated the budgetary
issues for the family, Hawthorne again discovered little time to seek after his written
work. By the by, amid this time, he was at that point shaping thoughts for a novel in
view of his Puritan family line and presented by a prelude about the Custom House
where he worked. At the point when the Whigs won the 1848 race, Hawthorne lost
his position. It was a money related stun to the family, however it serendipitously
furnished him with time to compose The Scarlet
How To Tell A True War Story Analysis
One important literary device in the vignette How to Tell a True War Story by Tim O
Brien is metafiction. Metafiction is fiction that discusses fiction, or when the author
self consciously talks to the reader. It is also used to distinguish the difference
between Tim O Brien the writer, and Tim O Brien the fictionalized main character. He
uses these two points of views for higher level thinking, and to understand the true
underlying message. One time when metafiction is shown is when Tim O Brien
talks about his friend Rat, who wrote an emotional letter to the sister of a soldier
who had died, in the letter he highlighted his heroism. Rat wanted his friend s legacy
to be remembered as a hero, so he poured his heart out, telling her that he
Male And Female Offenders Similarities
The patterns and rates of offending between males and females have several
similarities, as well as, differences. The nature of the offences is also varied and the
level of penalty is also different. While it can be considered that both males and
females equally engage in minor offences and abuse of substances, the rates for men
are higher than that of women. This paper will discuss the differences and similarities
that exist in the United Kingdom. To begin, there are numerous differences that can
be cited between femaleoffending and maleoffending. Generally, studies show that
women tend to engage in crime less often than their male counterparts. It is shown
that men are more predisposed to committing a crime than women (Coid,

To begin with, considering the representation in both cases, the minority and the
blacks are highly represented. This is a trait that is common to both the female
and male offenders. There are also several characteristics that the offenders possess
that is similar in both instances. First most offenders, both male and female are
extremely poor. Poverty is considered one of the major driving factors for the
commission of a crime. Most of the offenders in prison, both male and female, have
alcohol and drug use problems. a large number also suffers from mental problems
(Fergusson Horwood, 2002). There are also high incidences of physical abuse,
sexual abuse, as well as, emotional abuse. Both offenders are proactively involved in
the commission of such minor crimes as substance abuse and minor abuse of
Math 201 Research Paper
Math 201 has taught me a variety of mathematical concepts that will be useful in my
teaching career. This course was very interactive and for that reason have a better
understanding of how to teach math to children. Before taking this course, my
primary approach to teaching math was rote memorization as I was taught this way.
After taking math 201, I have come to understand that this approach is not highly
effective at all; that children who are taught this way end u missing out on important
concepts. I have learned the theory behind memorizing by repetition is the more you
go over a particular bit of information, the easier it is to recall. But create weaknesses
as children work their way though school, they may be memorizing information
Analysis Of Lou Kline In A Visit From The Goon Squad
In a novel that jumps between periods of time and interchanges multiple characters,
Lou Kline is one of the only consistent elements throughout the entirety of A Visit
From the Goon Squad by Jennifer Egan. Lou is first portrayed hostily as a
abhorrent, egocentric man who fears growing older. In the next chapter, the reader
s perception of Lou is altered from a sleazy man to a more paternal figure, and the
reader understands that while Lou has done despicable things, he is not
completely immoral. Altered again, the final image of Lou is that of pity as a
dying man, his failures are recounted and he is therefore at his most vulnerable.
Egan s non linear structure of the novel allows the reader to see multiple sides of
Lou Kline through different character perspectives, and in the end amplify the
merciless effect time has on a destructive urge to remain youthful and assert
dominance to win at everything. Lou s youth is characterized by in the moment
actions, an abundance of girls, and reckless living. Afraid of aging, he spends his
whole life in this state of mind. Even on his deathbed he invites Rhea and Jocelyn,
young girls from his past, to visit him in order to experience a final youthful
atmosphere. The narrator, Rhea, describes Lou as having a surfer s face,
connoting perceived inward youth while people looking at him would see his face
had gone a little draggy under the eyes (Egan 60). He shows many signs of
childishness and carelessness when he ignore[s] the rule to stay seated while the
jeep is moving and again when he sees lions and proceeds to climb out of his seat
with the others and they jam their upper upper halves through the open roof (Egan
66). This carelessness shows a lack of a sense of responsibility as not only an adult
but also a father, as evidenced in his lack of care for Rolph s true personality and
his passive aggressive attitude to Charlie as she defies him. When Charlie giggles
and Lou asks her what s so funny, he mocks her answer: Life! Lou snorts. How old
are you? Ironically this response is so childish that it makes the reader question the
mental age of Lou himself. While Lou does show a more maternal side in this
chapter, it is overtaken by his
Anime And Stereotypes
From what I have experienced through what I know of the anime world, I constantly
make the assumption that most anime follows the same plot, according to their
genre, simply just with different characters. Watching the new anime that come out
each season, my mindset is that of already knowing what is going to happen, or how
the show will ultimately end. Another assumption that I find myself making is that
most female animecharacters are portrayed in a sexual manner. It is a rare sight in
modern anime to find an anime without an overly explicit female character. In
regards to the impact my assumptions will have on my inquiry and writing, I find that
my assumptions may create a bias that prevents me from fully analyzing the research
I find as well as affecting the breadth of the research I look into.... Show more content

My introduction to anime was through the English dub of Japanese children anime
that was popular enough to make it to the United States. As I matured, and was able
to read faster, I moved on to watching the Japanese dubbed version of anime. The
personal connections that I have with anime are the memories I have made through
meeting friends who have the same interests as me, and the heated debates that I have
regarding anime with my siblings. I attribute the knowledge that I have attained
about anime to my older brother as well as my own personal experiences of watching

Negative Effects Of Imperialism
It had all started with the French attempt to convert the native Muslims and Jews.
This program was a civilizing mission attempting to convert the native religions to
Christianity. This program that they had followed was based off of the three C s ,
which are civilization, Christianity, commerce . The wars that were caused by this
left deep scars throughout Algeria. Muslim status called for greater political
autonomy and eventual independence from France, but it wasn t until Nov, 1 1954
when Algerians showed their first significant act of rebellion. Throughout this time
nearly two million Muslims were made into refugees or forcibly relocated to distant
lands. The first effect of imperialism brought many effects to Algeria both positive
and negative. a few positive effects that it had brought were roads, canals, and
railways as well as new crops cultivating. The negative effects that it had brought
were vicious wars, political uncertainty and an unsteady economy. This later brought
racial barriers and even social distractions to the country. It wasn t until after six
million of the six point five million out Algerians voted for... Show more content on

Another impact that had happened because of imperialism is that the men became
defiant due to the French violating their tradition. The french had done all of this
because they had no care for anything but power and gaining as much land as they
had lost in past wars (Synad 211). French impacted Algeria in several ways one of
those ways being that in order to be an Algerian citizen with french rights, algerians
had to give up their muslim identity. This was not only the most disrespectful thing
the french could have done but it had finally pushed the Algerians passed the edge.
Another horrific thing they attempted to do was to change the education so they
would have been learning french
The Pros And Cons Of Tort Law
Within Tort Law it has been acclaimed by most, that UK courts are not in favour of
negligent claims brought against the police force. There is no doubt that a police
officer owes a duty to protect the public However, in many regards the police aren t
found to be guilty to owe any such duty. The Tort of negligenceproclaims that one
must be owed a duty of care to claim, otherwise negligence caused to the claimant due
to the conduct of the defendant, is held without regard. As stated in the PoliceAct
1964 The chief officer of police for any police area shall be liable in respect of torts
committed by constables under his direction
It was firstly suggested that the courts show willingness to invoke public policy
principles of immunity where certain groups of defendants were sued in negligence ,
to which the case facts in Hill v Chief Constable of West Yorkshire Police [1988] will
shine light on. Moreover, one may suggest that the emergency services should be
free to carry out their line of work without the conscious threat of liability. If one
was to act in such a way as that which threatened overriding liability, it is
questionable as to whether an officer would act in a defensive state of mind, as
stated by Lord Keith in Hill .
It may well be considered that the courts specifically deny claims against the
emergency services, invoking public policy, as observed in Capital and Countries
Bank plc v Hampshire CC [1997] and John Munroe Ltd v London Fire and Civil
Defence Authority Others [1997] . The fire brigade, like the police force are too
exempt on the grounds of no duty is owed to an individual if an emergency call is
not responded to.
Policy is essentially concerned with the notion of Duty of care and maybe considered
the fourth element required for a negligence claim, primarily used to disregard claims
against the police.
The principles of duty of care are centred around the cases of Donoghue v Stevenson
(1932) , Hill and Caparo Industries PLC v Dickman [1990] .
The case of Donoghue v Stevenson [1932] has been instrumental to the foundations
of Tort Law, following the notion that since this case negligence has rapidly
developed into the cornerstone of our system for compensating
Research Paper On Fishing Salmon
In the past, the American River provided more that 150 miles of spawning habitat for
anadromous fish like Chinook (king) salmon and steelhead trout. With the creation of
the Folsom and Nimbus dam for flood control in 1970, came the decline of native
salmon and steelhead populations because upstream spawning habitats were cut off
or destroyed. The Nimbus Salmonand Steelhead Hatcherywas created because salmon
and steelhead were threatened to become extinct and people believed the population
could be replaced by hatchery fish. The relationship between salmon and humans is
much more than just humans fishing salmon for food. I think the relationship is more
of a positive one because the dambuilders try to mitigate population loss. By creation

They show the desire humans have to coexist with the salmon while providing a
viewing sight for humans to see the salmon. I think that although hatcheries seem to
be effective in maintaining the population of fish, we should work on creating a new
population of salmon in a new location. Then salmon won t need human intervention
to maintain their populations. Also that way we do not have to worry about how
hatchery salmon will react differently to than the wild salmon in the wild. I really
enjoyed my trip to the Nimbus and American river fish hatcheries and it was amazing
seeing and learning about the salmon and

planning, stage for basic changes in the program. The action research model
shown in Figure 1 closely follows Lewin s repetitive cycle of planning, action, and
measuring results. It also illustrates other aspects of Lewin s general model of
change. As indicated in the diagram, the planning stage is a period of unfreezing,
or problem awareness. The action stage is a period of changing, that is, trying out
new forms of behavior in an effort to understand and cope with the system s
problems. (There is inevitable overlap between the stages, since the boundaries are
not clear cut and cannot be in a continuous process). The results stage is a period of
refreezing, in which new behaviors are tried out on the job and, if successful and
reinforcing, become a part of the system s repertoire of problem solving
behavior.Action research is problem centered, client centered, and action oriented. It
involves the client system in a diagnostic, active learning, problem finding, and
problem solving process. Data are not simply returned in the form of a written report

Simon Bolivar has been considered by many historians as the liberator of the
Americas, he lead an army that liberated Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and
Bolivia from the Spanish rule. Bolivar dreamed in having these countries unified as
one big country called The Gran Colombia . These countries would have shared a
centralized government and would have had the city of Bogota as its capital.

With magnanimous sincerity, San Martin offered to place himself and his soldiers
under Bolivar s command if he would send the full Colombian army to drive the
Spanish out of Peru. Unfortunately for the patriot cause, Bolivar apparently
regarded San Martin as a rival and an antagonist rather than as a comrade in arms,
an obstacle to be removed before his own fame and glory were compromised by
sharing them with another. Bolivar refused the incredibly selfless offer, saying that
his delicacy would not allow him to command San Martin, and that the Colombian
Congress would not permit him to leave Colombia to pursue the war in Peru. San
Martin also indicated in an interview that he San Martin, a keen reader of men,
immediately perceived the arrogance and raw ambition that lay behind the mask of
courtly civility and empty excuses. Years later, in 1840, while living in voluntary
exile in France, the general confided his candid assessment of Bolivar s character to
a visitor, Captain Lafond de Lurcy of the French navy:
At first sight his personal appearance prejudiced me against him. He appeared to
have much pride, which was in contrast to his habit of never looking in the face of

The Shortcomings Of The Vertical Health Care Program

The Inadequacies of the Vertical Health Care Program
Considering all the health concerns that public health physicians must be cognizant of,
why does a vertical public health program seem so attractive and interesting? A
vertical public
health program directs most of its expertise and resources from health organizations
and
concentrates it on a single health issue, typically eliminating a particular disease. The
usual
strengths of vertical programming include the clearness and sustainability of its goals
and thus
progress is measurable without difficulty. A common and perhaps major weakness to
the vertical
health approach is that it deters ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The latrine was the core representation of increased hygienic conditions for the
campaign,
and therefore was a major element of hookworm elimination success. However, for
the local
populace, constructing them was time consuming and expensive, which were never
considered
in the public health initiative plans. In fact, most of the local Java population refused
to build the
latrines because eventually they would flood during the monsoon season (Stein 550).
This proves
that vertical programming fails to alter suitable interferences and interventions to the
population
of interest and puts the organization s (in this case the Rockefeller foundation)
priorities over the
local populace. The vertical programming method enforces the health organization s
ambitions
on the population of interest and demands that they embrace their practices. Vertical
programming frequently suffers from a lack of participation, community input, buy
in, and
commitment. Even after three decades, the hookworm infection rates declined only
slightly
(Stein 551). Though the strength of vertical programming is that it diverts time and
resources to
high priority health concerns, it might also be considered a weakness because the
health concern
deemed high priority by the public health initiative is not always the same as that
within the
targeted community (in this case the Java populace). Therefore, public health
physicians should

Methods Of Learning Algorithms For Groups Based On
Their...
2.1.3 CLUSTERING: Among the available clustering methods, K Means algorithm
is generally used to divide learners into natural groups based on their behavior for a
larger dataset. In the K Means clustering method, the number of clusters, denoted
by K is needed to be predefined to apply the technique. This is one of the simplest
and the most used unsupervised learning algorithm for clustering. The procedure
follows a simple and easy way to classify a given data set through a certain number
of clusters (assume k clusters) fixed a priori. The main idea is to define k centers,
one for each cluster. These centers should be placed in a cunning way because of
different location causes different result. So, the better choice is to place them as
much as possible far away from each other. The next step is to take each point
belonging to a given data set and associate it to the nearest center. When no point is
pending, the first step is completed and an early group age is done. At this point we
need to re calculate k new centroids as barycenter of the clusters resulting from the
previous step. After we have these k new centroids, a new binding has to be done
between the same data set points and the nearest new center. A loop has been
generated. As a result of this loop we may notice that the k centers change their
location step by step until no more changes are done or in other words centers do not
move any more. Finally, this algorithm aims at minimizing

purpose of discussion is to stimulate scholarly thought and reflection among class
members. Unless otherwise designated by the instructor, DISCUSSION MUST BE
POSTED BY 11:59 P.M. ON THE DAY STATED IN THE WEEKLY AGENDA.
The online environment allows you to work at your convenience; thus late
discussion, e mailed discussion, and make up work are not accepted under any
circumstances. Discussion is graded S or U. Satisfactory earns you full points.
Unsatisfactory earns no points. There is nothing in between. You are graded on
your initial response to the discussion question. This response must be of high
quality in format and substance. You are encouraged to interact and respond to the
postings of your classmates based on your own discretion. However, you must
submit one response to a classmate per week. Failure to do so without an
acceptable excuse will result in zero points for all discussions of that week. Keep
in mind that the emphasis in this class is on quality not quantity. In terms of format,

Black Humor In Kurt Vonnegut s Breakfast Of Champions
Breakfast of Champions or Goodbye Blue Monday is the seventh novel of Kurt
Vonnegut s that he wrote it in 1972, as he himself said this is for his very own
fiftieth birthday. It is Vonnegut s own parody of himself and his works on how his
mind views things as well. In this dark comedy the first person report forms and
describes the man who has been in prison three times in and out of the old prison as
a inmate and confronted with the great depression and World War II, the Korean
War, McCarthyism, Watergate and with black humor the satire of social reality has a
special social effect overall in this novel.
Black humor is something that many people stray from and often times do not want
to make contact for it is a sensitive topic. Black comedy is a kind of absurd humor,
tragedy and mixed with the comedy genre, content, and show the absurdity of the
world. Social alienation of human uncertainty is a struggle for after the bursting of
the rational principle is futile in the central content of it. When one looks at all of
this people often say that cynical laughter has to do with humorous attitude with the
reality of a distance between the order in which it is maintaining the dignity of
battered man who was violently attacked mentally and physically. DePaul University
has black comedy defined as Black humor comedy mingled with horror or a sense of
the macabre; extremely bitter, morbid, or shocking humor . The humor in Vonnegut s
fiction is what enables us to contemplate
Analysis Of Gertrude Stein s I Ain t No Oxford
With so many rules in the English language, it is easy for one to wonder how they
were created. The dictionary, for example, was only created a few hundred years
ago by people who thought that was how language was supposed to be. Many
artists have had the mission to go forward and break these rules. Gertrude Stein s
Tender Buttons, bill bissett s text bites, and John Agard s I Ain t No Oxford Don
question rules of grammar and synaptic normality. By the way, these poems disrupt
words, use non standard prose, and have ambiguous interpretations they break the
rules of grammar and disrupt the formal laws of language, inducing new ways of
about the how one produces meaning. Gertrude Stein was not always known as a

A line just distinguishes it (Stein, p.6). While asking what is the flattering length
she ends up defining it by a line. A line can only be defined by a contour or outline.
It cannot be defined by actual matter. Therefore, the serene length ends up being
defined by not being able to be defined. This gives readers an unending openness to
interpretation and perspective. In Gertrude Stein s Water Raining she leaves the
reader without any certainty. Stein writes Water is astonishing and difficult
altogether makes a meadow and a stroke (Stein, p. 10). Without the use of
punctuation, the reader is able to interrupt the poem according to how one sees fit.
Placing a period after astonishing (Stein, p. 10) makes it so the meadow and
stroke are strenuous on their own. A period after altogether (Stein, p. 10) leave the
meadow and stroke to come as an aftermath from the water. While a period after
meadow (Stein, p. 10) gives serenity a meadow will come from water but, a stroke
is an afterthought. Stein was not the only one to use visual art to make literature.
bill bissett as a visual artist and writer links his worlds together. At first glance, bill
bissett s poetry seems to be hard to understand, nonsensical, and almost a fallacy.
bissett s use of synecdoche pushes the reader to reexamine how one reads a poem in
the first place. The poem flows from whole to part. Particularly in text bites the
words come across
Camera Lucida Analysis
The Indexical Experience in Camera Lucida
Roland Barthes analysis of the photograph in Camera Lucida is based on his
introspective experience with photography s appearance. The book consists of
reflections of emotions felt during his experiences, which essentially defines a
phenomenological approach. Phenomenology, according to David Woodruff Smith,
is concerned with the things as they appear in our experience...thus the meanings
things have in our experience (Smith). For photography, the appearance of the
photograph is produced through the physical relationship between the referent
photographed and how it is imprinted in film. Therefore, in the experience of a
photograph for Barthes, the sign is determined by that physical relationship.
Although, Barthes analysis of the photograph includes both indexical and iconic
aspects, this paper seeks to argue that the indexical aspect of a photograph is the
prominent sign of the photograph because of Barthes phenomenological approach to
photography. To be clear, I am analyzing how Barthes perceives photography as
indexical from his phenomenological approach and proving how it serves the
indexical sign.
First, we must consider how Barthes speaks of indexicality when describing the
Camera Lucida s purpose, which he says is to find the noeme of photography. He
eventually concludes that the noeme is the undeniability of that has been , which
refers to the indexical truthfulness of what has physically been in front of the camera.

Firefighters are responsible for protecting people s lives and property from the
hazards of fire and emergencies. Firefighters do more than just put out fires, they
respond to different medical calls such as traffic accidents, and just other emergencies
where they are normally the first on the scene. The first permanent firefighting
company in the United states was formed by Benjamin Franklin in philadelphia in
1706 (Cosgrove). From horse drawn steam hand pumped engines to state of the art
computer operated fire apparatus, the fire service is a constantly evolving career

If they choose to wait until they are hired, they will be paid a reduced firefighter
salary during the time they are going through the training (Maple). This training is
either obtained from a vocational school, state university or a department s own
academy program. Firefighters need certain types of skills and personality types to
excel at their job. They must have excellent people skills as they must live and work
with many different personality types and they must deal with the public during
extremely stressful events. They must also be very mechanically inclined as the
duties require the use of many different types of specialized tools and equipment.
Working Conditions Salary
Working conditions vary greatly while in the station due to the size of the
department s budget and on emergencies due to the type/nature of the response.
One call you could be headed to a residential home to help a man that had a heart

health and safety issues related to the profession due to the broad range of
emergencies that personnel respond to. Directly out of the fire academy the average
beginning wage for firefighters is $45,250 annually (Maple). The maximum salary
you can expect as a lowest level firefighter is $54,538 and the maximum salary you
can expect if you promote through the ranks to fire chief

Benefits and Challenges of E procurement
Introduction
This research study identifies the benefits and challenges to the implementation of E
procurement in the organizations. E procurement is the process of purchasing the
goods or services from various suppliers through the internet. This helps to provides
number of benefits over older manual procurement method by eliminating several
errors. These benefits include reduction of administrative cost, faster transfer of
information, improve communication, and decrease in inventory cost (Matunga,
Nyanamba, Okibo, 2013). In corporate sector, the procurement has been divided into
two section i.e. direct and indirect procurement. Direct procurement involves the
materials that are used in the production of manufactured goods, whereas indirect
procurement deals with the involvement of day to day operations. E procurement
mainly provides more concentration on indirect procurement in contrast to direct
procurement (Kim Shunk, 2004).
E procurement help to provides various benefits, but still the implementation is in
development stage. Since not every business model or e procurement system are
equally stable for supporting different business processes, so companies are

The ATP P system doesn t provide a lot of energy but it is used for quick and
powerful movements. For example: A 100m runner would use the ATP PC system
due to the fact that the athlete would need a short powerful burst of movement to
be able to get off the blocks quickly. Another example of this energy is for a shot
putter. They would use this energy system because they don t need a lot of energy
for their sport, all they need is a short powerful burst of energy to be able to get a
strong, powerful thrown and to be able to throw the shot putt a long way. All these
different sporting examples last up to 8 10 seconds and this is the energy
production. The speed of energy production for Phosphocreatine is very fast,
although the amount of ATP produced is very limited. The time it takes to recover
from the ATP PC energy system is 30 seconds up to 4 minutes. The phosphocreatine
works when your body is working at high intensity at around 90 100%. The strengths
of the Phosphocreatine system is because the source is stored in the muscles and liver
so it can produce energy very quickly using a short burst. This means that there will
be a higher force of contraction. There are also no waste products within this system.
Another advantage/strength of this energy system is the recovery time.
Phosphocreatine recovery time is shorter than the

Reasons For Attending College Is Not An Easy One
The decision to attend college is not an easy one. If you are willing to choose this
route, then it won t be an easy path. In the end, it will be worth it to hear your name
when you walk across the field to get your diploma. This path will better your life in
the long run depending on whether or not you achieve greatness in college.
You can t start searching for a college unless you take the SAT or the ACT because
every college in America has to have those scores no matter what. To being the
process of starting college, you need to begin the search for what college you want. In

school. Most people including me are more likely to state in the state where they
reside. Do you want to be in an urban, rural, or suburban area? Do you want to have
a public or private school, and does it have to have a large population of students or
a small population. The choice to attend all girls, all boys, or a co ed school could
be important because all girls school have special features that a co ed school
might not. Schools will also send you information to your house for free with all the
necessary information you will need. Talking to people like your counselor, parents,

The Positive And Political Impacts Of The Olympic Games
The Olympics are a wonderful metaphor for world cooperation, the kind of
international competition that s wholesome and healthy, an interplay between
countries that represents the best in all of us, said John Williams, the composer for
theme music for the Olympics (8). The Olympic Games are international sports
festivals that began in ancient Greece. The first ancient Olympics can be traced back
to 776 BC when people held this religious festival to honour Zeus, the father of all
the Greek gods and goddesses. The participants were male citizens from Greece, and
these athletes participated in only one event foot race. Unfortunately, this ancient
Olympics did not last forever. The first olympic in 776 BC in Olympiawas an

The Nazi Olympics in Berlin in 1936 destroyed Hitler s master race history. There
was very definitely a special feeling in winning the gold medal and being a black
man, Woodruff said. We destroyed [Hitler s] master race theory whenever we started
winning those gold medals, said runner John Woodruff (7). John Woodruff was a
black man who won a gold medal. Another African American Jesse Owens won four
track and field gold medals. These two people defied the Aryan ideal that Hitler
believed that Aryan dominated the world. Another important impact the Olympic
brought happened in 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne, Australia. In that
Olympics, Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon refused to participate because of a dispute over the
Suez Canal; Spain, Switzerland, and the Netherlands boycotted the Games in protest
over the Soviet Union s invasion of Hungary; China boycotted the Games because a
flag of Taiwan was raised in the Olympic Village. The original purpose of the
Olympics was to make the countries collaborate, however, it also brought negative
impacts. Another example is that Olympics in Mexico city in 1968. Americans
politicised the Games by letting two African Americans, Tommie Smith and John
Carlos, represent the United States. Tommie Smith and John Carlos placed first and
third in the track and field. During their medal ceremony, they raised a clenched fist

Anton Chekhov, said to be one of the greatest short story writers in history.
Description is one of the key things in a story. By describing a scene instead of
telling what happens in the scene, you enable the reader to use their imagination. In
the stories The Pigman by Paul Zindel and Treasure of Lemon Brown by Walter Dean
Myers, the authors use descriptive adjectives to set the moods of the stories, establish
the characters and develop the setting. In The Pigman, the author uses descriptive
adjectives to develop the setting and establish the characters. In the story, the main

Taking a Look at Toxoplasma Gondii
Toxoplasma gondii is one of the most interesting parasites known to date. It has a
facultative heteroxenous life cycle and it can infect all warm blooded animal
including mammals, birds and humans. T. gondii is prevalent in most countries of the
world and is of medical importance, because it may cause abortion or congenital
disease in its intermediate hosts (Tenter et al. 2000). In its intermediate host, T. gondii
undergoes two phases of asexual development. During the first phase tachyzoites
multiply in different types of host cells. The last generations of tachyzoites initiate
the second phase of development, which results in the formation of cysts in the
intermediate host. Within the cyst, bradyzoites multiply rapidly and these cysts
readily form in the neural and muscular tissues of the host. However, they may also
be found in visceral organs such as the lungs and liver( Tenter et al. 2000). These
cysts are immediately infectious to the intermediate host. In many intermediate hosts
the cysts may persist for the life of the host giving rise to a latent infection. If the
cysts are ingested by a definitive host, the bradyzoites initiate another asexual phase,
which consists of repeated endopolygeny in epithelial cells of the small intestine
(Tenter et al. 2000). Then comes the sexual phase of the lifecycle. Oocyst formation
takes place in the epithelium of the small intestine and unsporulated oocysts are
released into the intestine and passed out with defecation. Sporogony

benefits and better treatment than the other group of students. Eventually, the
students were switched the following day. This experiment have showed this group

Honestly, I was not in the experiment but in one point I felt like crying from all that
yelling and scramming that professor Jane Elliot did to the participants. I think that
thoughts shifted for some of the participants when they started to feel bad after
professor Jane Elliot was saying to them. At one point in the film the participants
actually believed that they were wordless and stupid and that s where the thoughts
shifted. The resistances of the adult participants happened because they did not
want to believe that were bad and racisms. Personally, I was expecting that reaction
from them since we tend to see ourselves most of the time as good people and not
as bad people. I believe that they struggle with complying with the rules
/expectations because it is something new for them. As society, when we
experience something new we tend to have difficulties adjusting to it and that s
what I believed happened to the participants in this experiment. The division
between whites and blacks in the film was not enough since we are living in this
country where we have not only white and black people anymore. In the United
States we are blessed to be able to have a very diverse country, since we have people
from different nationality, religions and cultures. I would have rather see a more
diverse group of people in this

empowerment, she continued to feel inferior to the male authoritative figures in her
life, until 1956 when she met Ted Hughes. In her poem, Ode for Ted she

individual of nature. Her perception of him steers closely to majestic, bestowing
power and control unto him: he with rock splits open/ knobbed quartz; flayed colors

In The Applicant, Plath characterizes women to be reduced to nothing more than
commodities and appear robbed of their humanity (p. 185, Poetics of Torture, Lisa
Narbeshuber) . The poem begins in the perspective of a man, questioning the
expectations of a female candidate: First, are you our sort of a person?/ Do you
wear/ A glass eye, false teeth or a crutch,/ A brace or a hook,/ Rubber breasts or a
rubber crotch.... (1 5, The Applicant, Sylvia Plath). Plath s satirical tone of this
poem indicates her role as a woman in the 1950s, during which men s demands in
a wife were glorified. The women were the demonstrative applicants, assessed by
the manner in which they ....filled [the hand] and willing/ To bring teacups and roll
away headaches/ And do whatever [men] tell it (12 14, The Applicant, Sylvia
Plath). She emphasizes the degradation of women by labeling them as it . Prior to
this viewpoint, Plath needed boyfriends like mirrors to give her the identity she
wanted, construed by social norms and personal desires to belong (p. 66, The
Sexual Monster) . After Hughes betrayal destroyed this outlook, Plath s fig tree
theory (p. 77, The Bell Jar, Sylvia Plath) was justified by the outcome,
marriage....would threaten her ambition on professional levels (p. 66, The Sexual
Monster) . Her expected confinement in marriage was reasonable, and after her
estrangement from Hughes, she felt her desire to be herself and her inability to live
up to his expectations were at fault (p.71, The Sexual Monster). Will you marry it?

What Were The Goals Of The British French And Spanish...
The imperial goals of the British, French, and Spanish in North America between
1580 and 1763 were similar in that all three European states sought to capture the
wealth and commerce offered by the New World and in that they all used imperialism
as a means of increasing the authority, territory, and influence of their state; however,
the British, French, and Spanish imperialistic goals differed in that Britain s religious
goals were those regarding asylum, while the French and Spanish sought to gain
converts; moreover, the relationships the British, French, and Spanish wanted to form
with the natives differed drastically. These goals continued to be a main focus of the
British, French, and Spanish imperial efforts from 1580 to 1763. All three European
powers sought to capture the wealth and commerce of the New World namely, they
sought to take advantage of the abundance of raw materials and the market for trade
offered by North America which caused economic and political tensions between the
three states; therefore, the goal of capturing the wealth offered by the New World was

Wildlife Biologist Application Essay
Wiping sweat off my forehead, I stand up excitedly. The paw prints on the ground
are fresh I have almost located them. Jumping back into the beat up pick up truck, I
follow the increasingly loud beeping of the radio telemetry set until I spot the pack
just fifty yards in front of me. Quietly, I climb out of the vehicle, and momentarily
stare in awe at the small packof gray wolves I have been tracking for hours in the
wilderness of Montana. My field pants are speckled with briars and a few stray

observe the wolves, noticing the behavior of each member, record various data of the
current area, and save the point in my GPS. Having successfully completed the...

working as a wildlife biologist in the field. I desire to study mammals and the
effects of climate change on populations and biodiversity. The issues of climate
change are growing increasingly prominent, and I want to dedicate my career to
mitigating these negative effects and promoting conservation. As a wildlife
biologist, I plan on spending a myriad of days in the field, observing animals close
hand in their natural habitat. I am most intrigued by medium or large mammals in
the northwestern United States, and hope to study species like gray wolves,
grizzly and black bears, foxes, Canada lynxes, cougars, and porcupines, among
others. In addition to field work, this occupation involves some time analyzing
data, working in a lab, and writing research reports and papers. Also, much of the
work accomplished includes cooperation with others, and I look forward to
working with those that share similar passions as me. It is far from a luxurious life,
with many nights spent in cabins or camping in the wilderness, waving pesky flies
away from one s head, and trekking miles through heavily wooded forests, but these
elements of the career only inspire my passion further, as I love spending time
outdoors and cherishing

Sample Analysis Essay. Analytical Essay - 6 Examples, Format, Pdf Examples

  • 1. Sample Analysis Essay Crafting an essay on the subject of "Sample Analysis Essay" can present its fair share of challenges. Firstly, there's the inherent meta-cognitive hurdle of analyzing analysis itself. It demands a nuanced understanding of the analytical process, which can be convoluted to articulate coherently. Then there's the matter of originality; one must strive to offer fresh insights amidst a sea of existing analyses, avoiding the pitfalls of clichГ©s and recycled ideas. Moreover, navigating through the plethora of sample analyses available can be both a boon and a bane. While they serve as valuable references, they also pose the risk of inadvertently influencing one's perspective, leading to unintentional mimicry rather than genuine analysis. Furthermore, the essay's structure is crucial. Balancing the introduction's hook with a clear thesis statement, developing cohesive arguments in the body paragraphs, and concluding with a succinct summary that reinforces the main points—all while maintaining a coherent flow—is no small feat. And let's not overlook the research aspect. Delving into the subject matter, gathering relevant data, and discerning credible sources demand time and effort. Without diligent research, the analysis risks superficiality, lacking the depth necessary for a compelling argument. Additionally, there's the challenge of striking the right tone. An analysis essay necessitates a balance between objectivity and subjectivity, requiring the writer to remain impartial while still expressing their interpretation convincingly. In essence, crafting an essay on "Sample Analysis Essay" requires finesse, critical thinking, originality, meticulous research, and adept writing skills. It's a task that demands both creativity and rigor, making it a formidable endeavor for many. Similar essays and much more can be ordered on HelpWriting.net. • 2. Disobedience In Paradise Lost Have you ever seen a big red button that says do not push and then pushed it? We have all been there; it was just too tempting to not push it, right? In John Milton s Paradise Lost, mankind presses that big red button. Through Adam and Eve s free will to eat from the Tree of Knowledge, they fall from Paradise. It is not like God did not warn the pair; he made it abundantly clear that their one rule was to not eat from the tree. God, being omniscient, knows that they will fall, but makes their choice of disobedience an easy decision. Although God foresees the expulsion of Adam and Evefrom the garden, they have free will and fall on their own; however, God makes it too easy for Satan to succeed. God lets mankind fail through their own choices. At the start of the epic, Milton asserts that Paradise Lostwill display Man s first disobedience (1.1). Right from the get go, Milton claims that the fall is mankind s fault, so we know that Man must have made their ill fated decision on their own free will. Jumping forward to Book Three, God discusses the future of mankind with the Son. Being all knowing, God can see the choice Adam and Eve will make: Man will hearken to [Satan s] glozing lies... [and] will fall (3.93 95). Despite knowing what is to come for the pair, God recognizes that mankind s fall is a result of their own choices. God could have easily intervened and made the right choice for them, but he wants Adam and Eve to have the free will to make their own choices. In
  • 3. Communism And Fascism Similarities The difference between fascism and communism can be difficult to tell, other times it s simple to tell. Fascism is a form of government in which the state has all the power. Fascism is an authoritarian and nationalistic right wing system of government and social organization. Communism is a form of socialism, that abolishes private ownership of land. Communismis a member of the left wing system of government and organization. While communism and fascism may be slightly similar, they are different. The idea of communism originated in a writing by Karl Marx, in which he explained communism as a dictatorship of the proletariat. Although Marx, wrote of a perfect dictatorship of the proletariat, this has sadly not been seen as possible. Throughout

Following the passing of Captain Hathorne in 1808, Nathaniel, his mom, and his two sisters were compelled to move in with Mrs. Hawthorne s relatives, the Mannings. Metafiction is fiction that discusses fiction, or when the author self consciously talks to the reader. It is also used to distinguish the difference between Tim O Brien the writer, and Tim O Brien the fictionalized main character. He uses these two points of views for higher level thinking, and to understand the true underlying message. One time when metafiction is shown is when Tim O Brien talks about his friend Rat, who wrote an emotional letter to the sister of a soldier who had died, in the letter he highlighted his heroism. Rat wanted his friend s legacy to be remembered as a hero, so he poured his heart out, telling her that he

Before taking this course, my primary approach to teaching math was rote memorization as I was taught this way. After taking math 201, I have come to understand that this approach is not highly effective at all; that children who are taught this way end u missing out on important concepts. I have learned the theory behind memorizing by repetition is the more you go over a particular bit of information, the easier it is to recall. But create weaknesses as children work their way though school, they may be memorizing information
  • 9. Analysis Of Lou Kline In A Visit From The Goon Squad In a novel that jumps between periods of time and interchanges multiple characters, Lou Kline is one of the only consistent elements throughout the entirety of A Visit From the Goon Squad by Jennifer Egan. Lou is first portrayed hostily as a abhorrent, egocentric man who fears growing older. In the next chapter, the reader s perception of Lou is altered from a sleazy man to a more paternal figure, and the reader understands that while Lou has done despicable things, he is not completely immoral. Altered again, the final image of Lou is that of pity as a dying man, his failures are recounted and he is therefore at his most vulnerable. Egan s non linear structure of the novel allows the reader to see multiple sides of Lou Kline through different character perspectives, and in the end amplify the merciless effect time has on a destructive urge to remain youthful and assert dominance to win at everything. Lou s youth is characterized by in the moment actions, an abundance of girls, and reckless living. Afraid of aging, he spends his whole life in this state of mind. Even on his deathbed he invites Rhea and Jocelyn, young girls from his past, to visit him in order to experience a final youthful atmosphere. The narrator, Rhea, describes Lou as having a surfer s face, connoting perceived inward youth while people looking at him would see his face had gone a little draggy under the eyes (Egan 60). He shows many signs of childishness and carelessness when he ignore[s] the rule to stay seated while the jeep is moving and again when he sees lions and proceeds to climb out of his seat with the others and they jam their upper upper halves through the open roof (Egan 66). This carelessness shows a lack of a sense of responsibility as not only an adult but also a father, as evidenced in his lack of care for Rolph s true personality and his passive aggressive attitude to Charlie as she defies him. When Charlie giggles and Lou asks her what s so funny, he mocks her answer: Life! Lou snorts. How old are you? Ironically this response is so childish that it makes the reader question the mental age of Lou himself. While Lou does show a more maternal side in this chapter, it is overtaken by his

Anime And Stereotypes From what I have experienced through what I know of the anime world, I constantly make the assumption that most anime follows the same plot, according to their genre, simply just with different characters. Watching the new anime that come out each season, my mindset is that of already knowing what is going to happen, or how the show will ultimately end. Another assumption that I find myself making is that most female animecharacters are portrayed in a sexual manner. It is a rare sight in modern anime to find an anime without an overly explicit female character. This program was a civilizing mission attempting to convert the native religions to Christianity. • 12. The Pros And Cons Of Tort Law Within Tort Law it has been acclaimed by most, that UK courts are not in favour of negligent claims brought against the police force. There is no doubt that a police officer owes a duty to protect the public However, in many regards the police aren t found to be guilty to owe any such duty. The Tort of negligenceproclaims that one must be owed a duty of care to claim, otherwise negligence caused to the claimant due to the conduct of the defendant, is held without regard. As stated in the PoliceAct 1964 The chief officer of police for any police area shall be liable in respect of torts committed by constables under his direction It was firstly suggested that the courts show willingness to invoke public policy principles of immunity where certain groups of defendants were sued in negligence , to which the case facts in Hill v Chief Constable of West Yorkshire Police [1988] will shine light on. Moreover, one may suggest that the emergency services should be free to carry out their line of work without the conscious threat of liability. If one was to act in such a way as that which threatened overriding liability, it is questionable as to whether an officer would act in a defensive state of mind, as stated by Lord Keith in Hill . It may well be considered that the courts specifically deny claims against the emergency services, invoking public policy, as observed in Capital and Countries Bank plc v Hampshire CC [1997] and John Munroe Ltd v London Fire and Civil Defence Authority Others [1997] . The fire brigade, like the police force are too exempt on the grounds of no duty is owed to an individual if an emergency call is not responded to. Policy is essentially concerned with the notion of Duty of care and maybe considered the fourth element required for a negligence claim, primarily used to disregard claims against the police. The principles of duty of care are centred around the cases of Donoghue v Stevenson (1932) , Hill and Caparo Industries PLC v Dickman [1990] . The case of Donoghue v Stevenson [1932] has been instrumental to the foundations of Tort Law, following the notion that since this case negligence has rapidly developed into the cornerstone of our system for compensating

  • 19. that vertical programming fails to alter suitable interferences and interventions to the population of interest and puts the organization s (in this case the Rockefeller foundation) priorities over the local populace. The vertical programming method enforces the health organization s ambitions on the population of interest and demands that they embrace their practices. Vertical programming frequently suffers from a lack of participation, community input, buy in, and commitment. Even after three decades, the hookworm infection rates declined only slightly (Stein 551). Though the strength of vertical programming is that it diverts time and resources to high priority health concerns, it might also be considered a weakness because the health concern deemed high priority by the public health initiative is not always the same as that within the targeted community (in this case the Java populace). Therefore, public health physicians should

Methods Of Learning Algorithms For Groups Based On Their... 2.1.3 CLUSTERING: Among the available clustering methods, K Means algorithm is generally used to divide learners into natural groups based on their behavior for a larger dataset. In the K Means clustering method, the number of clusters, denoted by K is needed to be predefined to apply the technique. This is one of the simplest and the most used unsupervised learning algorithm for clustering. The procedure follows a simple and easy way to classify a given data set through a certain number of clusters (assume k clusters) fixed a priori. The main idea is to define k centers, one for each cluster. These centers should be placed in a cunning way because of different location causes different result. So, the better choice is to place them as much as possible far away from each other. The next step is to take each point belonging to a given data set and associate it to the nearest center. When no point is pending, the first step is completed and an early group age is done. At this point we need to re calculate k new centroids as barycenter of the clusters resulting from the previous step. After we have these k new centroids, a new binding has to be done between the same data set points and the nearest new center. A loop has been generated. As a result of this loop we may notice that the k centers change their location step by step until no more changes are done or in other words centers do not move any more. Finally, this algorithm aims at minimizing

In Gertrude Stein s Water Raining she leaves the reader without any certainty. Stein writes Water is astonishing and difficult altogether makes a meadow and a stroke (Stein, p. 10). Camera Lucida Analysis The Indexical Experience in Camera Lucida Roland Barthes analysis of the photograph in Camera Lucida is based on his introspective experience with photography s appearance. The book consists of reflections of emotions felt during his experiences, which essentially defines a phenomenological approach. Phenomenology, according to David Woodruff Smith, is concerned with the things as they appear in our experience...thus the meanings things have in our experience (Smith). For photography, the appearance of the photograph is produced through the physical relationship between the referent photographed and how it is imprinted in film. Therefore, in the experience of a photograph for Barthes, the sign is determined by that physical relationship. Although, Barthes analysis of the photograph includes both indexical and iconic aspects, this paper seeks to argue that the indexical aspect of a photograph is the prominent sign of the photograph because of Barthes phenomenological approach to photography. To be clear, I am analyzing how Barthes perceives photography as indexical from his phenomenological approach and proving how it serves the indexical sign. First, we must consider how Barthes speaks of indexicality when describing the Camera Lucida s purpose, which he says is to find the noeme of photography. He eventually concludes that the noeme is the undeniability of that has been , which refers to the indexical truthfulness of what has physically been in front of the camera. He

E procurement is the process of purchasing the goods or services from various suppliers through the internet. This helps to provides number of benefits over older manual procurement method by eliminating several errors. These benefits include reduction of administrative cost, faster transfer of information, improve communication, and decrease in inventory cost (Matunga, Nyanamba, Okibo, 2013). In corporate sector, the procurement has been divided into two section i.e. direct and indirect procurement. Direct procurement involves the materials that are used in the production of manufactured goods, whereas indirect procurement deals with the involvement of day to day operations. E procurement mainly provides more concentration on indirect procurement in contrast to direct procurement (Kim Shunk, 2004). E procurement help to provides various benefits, but still the implementation is in development stage. For example: A 100m runner would use the ATP PC system due to the fact that the athlete would need a short powerful burst of movement to be able to get off the blocks quickly. Another example of this energy is for a shot putter. They would use this energy system because they don t need a lot of energy for their sport, all they need is a short powerful burst of energy to be able to get a strong, powerful thrown and to be able to throw the shot putt a long way. The time it takes to recover from the ATP PC energy system is 30 seconds up to 4 minutes. The phosphocreatine works when your body is working at high intensity at around 90 100%. The strengths of the Phosphocreatine system is because the source is stored in the muscles and liver so it can produce energy very quickly using a short burst. This means that there will be a higher force of contraction. There are also no waste products within this system. Another advantage/strength of this energy system is the recovery time. It has a facultative heteroxenous life cycle and it can infect all warm blooded animal including mammals, birds and humans. T. gondii is prevalent in most countries of the world and is of medical importance, because it may cause abortion or congenital disease in its intermediate hosts (Tenter et al. 2000). In its intermediate host, T. gondii undergoes two phases of asexual development. During the first phase tachyzoites multiply in different types of host cells. The last generations of tachyzoites initiate the second phase of development, which results in the formation of cysts in the intermediate host. Within the cyst, bradyzoites multiply rapidly and these cysts readily form in the neural and muscular tissues of the host. However, they may also be found in visceral organs such as the lungs and liver( Tenter et al. 2000). These cysts are immediately infectious to the intermediate host. In many intermediate hosts the cysts may persist for the life of the host giving rise to a latent infection. If the cysts are ingested by a definitive host, the bradyzoites initiate another asexual phase, which consists of repeated endopolygeny in epithelial cells of the small intestine (Tenter et al. 2000). Then comes the sexual phase of the lifecycle. Oocyst formation takes place in the epithelium of the small intestine and unsporulated oocysts are released into the intestine and passed out with defecation. Sporogony
