Vincent Van Gogh
The Starry Night  is a masterpiece of the postimpressionistic painter Vincent van Gogh. The picture shows the night from the window of “Saint-Rémy-de-Provence's”.
It is of middle of 1889, thirteen months before the suicide of Van Gogh. Since 1941, it forms a part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art of New York.  The picture has been reproduced in numerous occasions, being one of his works more known. The central part of the linen shows the village of Saint-Rémy under a whirled sky.
I like this picture, because it is very simple, its colors are very nice, and I have studied it in class of art. Posted by Santi

The movement: Renaissance Renaissance  was a cultural movement that spanned roughly the 14th to the 17th century, beginning in Italy and later spreading to the rest of Europe. As a cultural movement, it encompassed a rebellion of learning based on classical sources, the development of linear perspective in painting, and gradual but widespread educational reform.
