Aristotle's model of communication focuses on how a speaker can influence an audience through their speech. It has five main elements - the speaker, speech, occasion, audience, and effect. There are three key elements a good public speaker should demonstrate according to Aristotle - ethos, establishing credibility with the audience; pathos, creating an emotional bond with the audience; and logos, ensuring the speech has logical content relevant to the occasion and audience. The model examines how public speaking works to engage and persuade audiences.
