- Bonjour. La startup été cree en 2014 en Angleterre. Ensuite, il été rétabli en 2017 à Paris. Aujourd'hui, nous sommes 5 en France, avec un détachement de 4 personnes en Angleterre. ===== Hello. The startup was launched back in 2014 in England. Then, reestablished it in 2017 in Paris. Today, we are 5 in France, with a detachment of 4 people in England.
- Je commence par un résumé exécutif compact. Nous avons essentiellement une solution pratique, basée sur l'hydrogène, pour réduire considérablement les émissions des moteurs à combustion. Nous avons terminé le prototypage et commencé la phase de commercialisation limitée. Les premiers signes de traction sont démontrés par les premières ventes aux grandes entreprises et par le soutien de Mairie de Paris, sous forme de projet de démonstration supervisé par AirParif. Si nous sommes sélectionnés pour rejoindre le programme MooveLab, cela nous aiderait à accélérer l’adoption de la technologie. ===== I start with a very compact executive summary. Essentially, we have a practical solution, based on hydrogen, to drastically reduce emissions from combustion engines. We have finished prototyping and started limited commercialisation phase. First signs of traction are demonstrated by initial sales to corporate clients, and by support from Mairie de Paris, in the form of demo project supervised by AirParif. If we are selected to join the MooveLab program, it would help us accelerate the adoption of technology.

- Aujourd'hui, les constructeurs automobiles sont sous pression pour réduire les émissions. Et de nombreuses technologies ont été mises en place, telles que la vanne de recirculation, le filtre à particules et l'AdBlue. Mais toutes les technologies actuelles se concentrent sur la partie post-combustion. Le principe de créer des émissions par une combustion incomplète, puis de capturer les émissions, n'est pas optimal. ===== Today, the carmakers are under pressure to reduce the emissions. And many technologies have been put in place, such as recirculation valve, particulate filter, and AdBlue But all current technologies are focused on post-combustion part. The principle of creating emissions through incomplete combustion, and then capturing the emissions, is not optimal.
- Notre innovation est basée sur l'attaque du problème d'un côté opposé, à la phase de précombustion. En ajoutant un troisième élément, l'hydrogène, au mélange air-carburant, nous sommes en mesure d'optimiser le processus de combustion. Cela nous permet de brûler toutes les particules sortant du moteur et de garder les éléments internes du système d'échappement plus propres. ===== Our innovation is based on attacking the problem from an opposite end, at the pre-combustion phase. By adding a third element, hydrogen, into the air-fuel mix, we are able to optimise the combustion process. This allows us to burn all the particles leaving the engine, and keep the internals of the exhaust system cleaner.
- Notre produit est un appareil compatible avec la plupart des moteurs à combustion existants. C'est un petit appareil installé près du moteur, sous le capot de la voiture. Le coût est compris entre 1 et 4 milliers d'euros. Pour un mécanicien qualifié, il n’est pas trop difficile à installer. Une fois installé, l'effet est immédiat et peut être mesuré en toute confiance avec les équipements standard utilisés dans les centres de contrôle technique, tels qu'un opacimètre ou un analyseur à 5 gaz. Les avantages supplémentaires d'une combustion plus complète sont la réduction de l'entretien et des économies de carburant. ===== Our product is a device which is compatible with most of the existing combustion engines. It's a small device, which is installed near the engine, under the car bonnet. The cost is between 1 and 4 thousands euros. For a trained mechanic, it is not too difficult to install. Once installed, the effect is immediate, and can be measured confidently by standard equipment used in MOT centre, such as an opacimeter, or a 5-gas analyser. The additional benefits of a more complete combustion are reduction of maintenance and fuel economy.
- Nous avons utilisé une combinaison de différentes subventions et d’un cycle de financement participatif au cours de la phase d’expérimentation et de prototypage. Pour nous aider à nous établir à Paris en 2017, nous avons été accélérés par Paris & Co, puis par UsineIO. Notre startup était l'un des lauréats du prix de l'innovation en 2017. L'année dernière, nous avons reçu le label de Solar Impulse d'association de Bertrand Piccard. Nous avons également été sélectionnés pour un projet de démonstration lancé par UrbanLab de la Mairie de Paris, supervisé par AirParif. Cette année, notre technologie suscite un intérêt croissant chez les grandes entreprises, qui recherchent des solutions pratiques pour réduire les émissions des moteurs à combustion. ===== We used a combination of various grants and one round of crowdfunding, during the experimentation and prototyping phase. To help us establish in Paris in 2017, we were accelerated by Paris&Co, and then by UsineIO. Our startup was one of the laureats of the innovation prix in 2017. Last year, we received the the label of Solar Impulse of association of Bertrand Piccard. Also we were selected for a demo project by launched by UrbanLab of the Mairie de Paris, superviced by AirParif. This year, we are seeing increased interest to our technology from large corporates, who search practical solutions to reduce emissions from combustion engines.
- Pour terminer sur une note pratique, je vais vous montrer quelques exemples récents, dans lesquels notre technologie a un impact positif sur les activités de nos clients. Ici, pour un véhicule de livraison, la réduction des émissions de particules a été suivie de l’élimination des problèmes liés aux filtres à particules. ===== To finish on a practical note, I will show you a few recent examples, where our technology makes a positive impact on the business of our clients. Here, for a delivery vehicle, the reduction of particles emissions was followed by elimination of problems with particulate filters.
