4 Schools 9 Schools 1 School To Date, CTEF Has Helped 93 Schools,  Distributed >38,000 Books, And Funded >$567,000  = Giving >45,000 Children The Gift of Education  3 Schools 3 Schools 1 School In the past year, CTEF helped to rebuild or renovate a total of  21 schools and donated over 17,000 books in 6 provinces
In 2007, CTEF Raised  A Record Total of >$137,828  From Chinese Employees At Microsoft  Note: the data only represent Microsoft CHIME donors who voluntarily completed an online survey. The actual donation amount is estimated to be higher.
Highlights of 2007 Innovate Expand
InterGlow Community Center Project Interglow ( interglow.org ) is a HongKong based NGO that targets to reduce poverty and build sustainability in remote villages.  InterGlow Helps Lift Villages Out of Poverty Using the  Self-Help Philosophy  Build Water System Distribute Crop Seeds to Villagers for Farming Donate Clothes Provide Basic Health Services and Trains Local Clinicians
Innovation through Partnership In 2007, InterGlow and CTEF formed a partnership to build the Community Center in Mok Hor County ( 莫火作村 ) , near Xi Chang in southwest Sichuan: CTEF is responsible for the school in this community center.  The school will serve multiple purposes:  Elementary education and boarding for over 100 children. Continuing education for adults. Headquarter for the village corporation that InterGlow organized with 50% women participation to stimulate self-sustained entrepreneurship
Mok Hor County i s an inaccessible village without paved roads, running water, or electricity.  Yi ( 彝族) minority ethnic group comprised majority of villagers.
School Construction Started in Fall 2007 With Help From Villagers (Villagers At Work) Villagers contributed their labor to the project. There were old men, mothers carrying babies, and teenagers at the construction field.

School Construction Started in Fall 2007 With Help From Villagers (More Construction Scenes) Community Center is quickly taking shape to be completed this fall. The Center is evaluating energy sources including hydraulics, solar and wind.
- In early October 2008, we are planning a field trip to officially unveil the facility. - We welcome any interested parties to participate in and witness this wonderful event.
Innovation through Technology  Teacher Pan has experience teaching students basic computer skills and is passionate about introducing technology to children.  CTEF agreed to sponsor Teacher Pan to pilot a  multi-media lab project  for local schools.  The lab will teach applicable computer skills to teachers and contribute equipment to their schools.  Trained teachers will bring the learning and the equipment back to their own schools. Teach Pan is showing how to use a projector to teachers from village schools
