Here are your morning announcements:

1. The SCI mental health team, aka the Wellness
Warriors, needs your help. We’re looking for
students to join our advisory committee and give
us feedback from the student perspective. What
are the major concerns students have? How can
our school community better support mental
health? What are we doing right, and what needs
to change?
Your ideas matter! If you’re interested in joining
this group, please see Mr. Murray in Guidance
before the end of the day on Tuesday. Our first
meeting will be during period 2 on Wednesday.
All students in grades 7-12 are welcome!

2. Volunteers meet
daily at 11:00am
in the art room.

3. Today’s special is Butter Chicken
and Veggie Rice.

5. Student Achievement Awards
What would you do with $1000?
If you want a chance at winning an annual
OSSTF/FEESO Student Achievement Award, you
need to create an original piece of writing, art or
media on this year’s theme One Strong Woman.
The submission deadline is November 15th. Your
application package will go through a school,
district, regional, and provincial competition. For
more information, look for a poster or check out
