Each year about 230 Belarusian families face with children’s
terrible diagnosis – it is cancer. They start a new life which full
of constant struggle for their child and fight against the
disease by all means.
4. The project aim is the financial help for children with cancer as well as
non-financial help. Sick children need support and care and not only
the treatment itself. The project aim also is charity.
5. 1) to provide children with high quality preventive, curative and
diagnostic means, with food and other necessities
2) to give additional work for parents in different social projects
3) to ensure social and psychological adaptation of the children with
cancer and to organize their free-time activities, their rest and
recreation, to provide them fully functioning life.
6. • It means that every week the volunteers will spend time
with children, organize their activities. Unfortunately, it
is not always easy because of the hospital orders.
• We are sure that there are a lot of empathic people who
have ideas and a desire to bring these ideas to life.
Fun, performance, competitions do the best to make
children free of hospital boredom and bad mood.
7. We believe that such events should be held constantly.
This way children can get used to communicate with
new people, get new experience. We will look for new
and interesting activities, and we will always be grateful
for the ideas and participation. We always need
volunteers’ help, and this help can be any as well as
immaterial or material.
Charitable activities is an opportunity for children to receive
financial supporting, to pay for expensive treatments and
operations; it is an opportunity for adults to express their
empathy; it's a chance for families to overcome children's
illness.
8. 1. Free time and a desire to help.
We encourage SBMT students for volunteering, students often have
more free time than a person who works. It does not need a lot of
time. Even two hours is enough to play with a child and to give him the
positive energy for all day.

These offices are necessary to collect products, office supplies,
medicines, or just gifts for children.
9. Benefits of implementation
The greatest benefit is of course the assistance itself and the
understanding the fact that you do something useful. You
know that you help children in post-hospital rehabilitation.
10. • It also influences a faculty reputation. School leavers often face with
difficult choice. Such activities increase the reputation of our faculty.
It may be a positive sign to choice exactly our faculty.

11. 20 years ago only 15% of children with cancer diseases had a chance to
survive in Belarus, today it is 75% of all cancer cases. Volunteers have
made a lot for this progress. We want to save more children's lives and
we ask all not indifferent people: let's help children together to survive!
