This lesson plan teaches students about the life of Anne Frank and the Holocaust through reading Anne Frank's diary and completing an online scavenger hunt and activities on the US Holocaust Memorial Museum website. Students will work in groups to complete the scavenger hunt worksheet and present their findings to the class using a smart board. They will also take an Accelerated Reader test on Anne Frank's diary to assess their learning. The goal is for students to gain an understanding of what life was like for Jews under Nazi occupation during World War 2.

on the Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank. Students need to score and 80 or better.
Students will use the Smart Board to fill out the scavenger hunt worksheet for the class to
view, so students may see a varity of answers that where found.
