Analysis on Web 3.0 and EDU 3.0 - Criteria and Indicators to enhance an online learning

Post Graduate Program in Open University Malaysia

OBJECTIVE
➤ Review and analyze the
evolution of the Internet and
education to produce a valuable
indicator that will function as a
guide for enhancing online
learning practices in OUM.
➤ The study also intends to devise
a workable online learning
framework to keep OUM up to
date in practising an online
learning at par with the
indicator.
CHALLENGES
Since its establishment, OUM has
practiced Online Distance Learning (ODL)
aggressive and dynamically. Its has
reached its maturity in delivering the
content via online through two modes of
blended learning approach i.e. face to face
supported by online learning and fully
online learning.
The maturity of delivering content via
online is due to most of the universities
in Malaysia now are also pursuing on
online learning that created a sense of
competitiveness and diversication of
online content delivery approach.

1. Most of the content viewed
focuses on the assignments
and the learning strategy
2. Less viewed on the content
which serve as an important
resources to undergo the
tasks in the assignment
CONCLUSION - APPARENT TRUTH
The learners seem to be active in
undergoing the task rather than
viewing and performing the
activities and the content. Overall
findings show that a declination
on the level of interaction in both
activities and task completion.
The learners tend to focus more
in completing the assignments
rather than digesting the
resources that can create a
better understanding of the given
topics
