1. This digipak is very simple, but would
also be affect for its target audience.
The colour used are very innocent, and harmless. Which
says something about the kind of music on the album. By
having quite neutral colours you expect something quite
calm and soothing helping to advertise the kind of music
which would be on the album.
I think the reason the album cover
does not have any images of the
artist is because the artist wants to
whole album to be about the
music and not them. This could say
a lot about the artist and the
music. Showing that is could be
very meaningful and emotional.
Especially with the rose in the
background, and flickering light
images.
There is a reasonable
amount of writing on the
digipak. To help give
information about the
artist and the kind of
music. To help the
audience understand
what the songs are about
and what other work the
artist may have done. It
helps advertise the album
in a very subtle way, once
your eye have moved on
from the images, which
are used to quickly draw
your attention in.
Everything on the album cover is giving the audience an
insight on what could be on the album, and the digipak is
very calming, already helping to attract their audience. As
this is what their kind of audience would be looking for.
