brown fields are on time schedule and as per budget ;
without compromising quality.
I initiated, followed-through and implemented the

produced in the quantities and at the qualities level to meet
shareholder need and off take requirements. I managed to
present news concepts of four scenarios to the Hosting
Government to approve the incremental of WNPOC
Production level by 400%. Finally the government
approved the plan and agreed that WNPOC can build a

allowed WNPOC to increase the production to 40,000
BOPD instead of 12,000 BOPD.
I managed a specialized group of engineers and specialists
to formulate strategies and plans to maximize commercial oil
recovery of developed fields through well/well review and

ensure proper system management is in place. After three
years I managed to change Sudapet from a local
Governmental Company to an international E&P company

BLUE NILE PETROLEUM OPERATING COMPANY
( BNPOC ) :- The shareholders of the company were Gain
Yield Investment Ltd., Hong-Kong 90 % & SUDAPET Ltd.
10%. This company was registered as off- Shore Company.
I managed to register a branch in Sudan in two weeks’ time,
established the company HQ in Khartoum and I managed to
negotiate the contract with the landlord and reduced the cost
by 20% compared to the similar building in the area.
In the beginning the company establishment, and due to limited
budget and work, interviewed the local staff and hired only 3
support , trained them to be of multi-skilled disciplines who
can work on many projects and trades like accounting ,

Sector: Exploration and production Division
Sr. Production Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Basic function and scope
Reporting to :
GM E & P I achieved GNPOC production plateau of 280 KBOPD from
10 Production Fields in Block 1,2 and 4 (. Heglig, Unity,
Toma South, El Naar, El Haar, El Toor, Garaad, Bamboo,
Munga, Khairat NE Dfra & Neem ). This achievement was
above to the approved WP&B ,target of 269 KBOPD.
I managed to achieve 300 KBOPD as peak production in
few months.
These high Production achievements were realized
because of the following actions taken :
I continuously attend to Well/Well Review..
Took decision on the spot about production
issues, such as sand production & completion
problems, Water Injection issues , artificial lift
issues, workover / Re-completion analysis and
production data aquision issues.
I was reviewing with engineers and
technologists idle wells status and discuss the
plans to bring them back on stream in due
course of time.
I was reviewing with reservoir engineers and
G&G group well performance and artificial lift or
secondary recovery phase required.
I was energizing operations & maintenance by
highlighting my observations about processing
facilities performance, pipelines integrity, De-
bottleneck projects and tank farm performance.
I thinking out of box and encourage my staff to
do the same .
I was responsible of all electrical feeders to
wells and processing plants , that include 600
klms of HV transmission lines , 3 power plants
and utilities . I was chairing meetings regarding
HV& LV transmission lines, power plants
performance, spare parts availability, contracts
…etc.

I was very restricted about power outage
issues. I encourage the power committee &
consultants to suggest many improvement
incentives such as transmission line retrofitting,
sectionalization , outer closers system
protection enhancement .. Lost production
index due to power(LPI) reports showed
outstanding improvement ; LPI DECREASED
from 7% to only 2.5 %.
I managed a professional engineering and specialist team
who assess processing facilities, pipelines integrity, Power
Plants , tank farm and meters performance .
I was responsible of 412 wells performance ( most of them
on PCP& ESP) and water injection plant . Manage 5 power
generation plants , 600 klms of HV electrical transmission
lines .
I have the ability to motivate and energize staff for
performance improvement . I always empower staff and
encourage them to make decisions and come with new
ideas. I always follow the rule of (make it right first time).
This is happening because of training , development &
couching programs offered by my subordinates .
When I left the company, I had in my department 400
skilled engineers , technicians and operators. My budget
was more than $ 600 MM per year.
I was the HSE System custodian in my department . I
ensure all activities are carried out in full accordance with
Company's Health, Safety and Environment policies and
procedures .
Achieved ISO 2001 certificates to all the 16 installations
like e the Field Production Facilities and power plants..

Operations Superintendent and lab supervisor. This was critical
job because of the waxy oil nature and to ensure the pipeline will
be operated smoothly and safely.
Engaged Operations and Maintenance Contractors to fill the
positions and support the operations and maintenance until
nationals can take over. I negotiated the contracts and got the
best price in the regions. I higher the best contract staff after

technicians over 2-3 years training program to furnish the
operations , lab, corrosion and maintenance sections with
competent operators and technicians .
I established the career progression for engineers , operators &
technicians to understudy the higher jobs and to nationalize them
after through assessment . 400 supervisors , specialists ,

Worked as (Fields development Plan) FDP milestone sr. reviewer .
I reviewed 5 different FDPs in REPID ( china ) , Petronas
(Malyasia) & Sudan . I go through the G&G phase until the final
geological model is finished. Then I follow with the reservoir
engineers on the Engineering Dynamic model. I challenged the
field economics to ensure its fit-for-purpose and no additional
cost encored.
Worked as project director of Field Surface facilities phase 1 ( FSF1
The scope was 100 wells to be tied in and put on stream to
produce 150,000 BOPD . The value of this project was $70 MM
and the mode was on fast track bases to be
completed/commissioned before June 1999 . ie. In one year time.
Responsible of Tie –in 100 wells in 5 fields ( Unity , Heglig , Toma
South , Elnar and Eltoor fields ) to the field production facilities (
FPFs ) . The scope of work is to lead 18 staff ( project team ) to
engineer , procure equipment and materials , construct and
commission the inter-fields pipelines , oil gathering manifolds ,
Micro motion meters , overhead transmission lines , high voltage
/ low voltage transformers , switch gears , underground cables
and MCC rooms .
I achieved the project on time and saved 6 million dollars. This
saving come from low price of material transportation (negotiated
good price) , commissioned the project before raining seasons ,
(saved on excavation equipment hours), saved the stores rental in
mid-way between Port & fields (distance over 1200 KMs) , by
applying security and rewards to drivers who achieved logistics
goals.
I was very concerned about the inter-phasing issues between the
different projects EPC1 , EPC2B and FSF1 . this is important for
ensuring smooth flow achieved between different teams in
different projects.
After the FDP reached the final stage , I was responsible about
the team who purchased the artificial lift equipment , most of
them were Electrical submersible pumps and progressive Cavity
pumps. I hired the team who is responsible to complete the wells ,
