2. Introduction:
• Crime detection agencies are vital component of law enforcement
systems worldwide, plying important role in the detection,
investigation and prevention of criminal activities.
• These agencies strive to ensure public safety, maintain social order,
and provide justice.
• The purpose of this presentation is to explore the agencies
responsible for crime detection.

All the enforcement agencies are establish under the constitution
of Pakistan 1973
Pakistan crimes detection agencies are divided into two parts.

5. Federal Investigation Agencies (FIA)
It is responsible for the Investigation of federal crimes such as
terrorism, human trafficking, cybercrime, money laundering,
and immigration offenses.

6. Anti Narcotics Force (ANF)
• The ANF is responsible for combating narcotics smuggling
and drug abuse in Pakistan.
• It conducts intelligence based operation ,arrests drug
traffickers, and works toward eradicating the drug trade
from the country

7. National Accountability Bureau (NAB)
• The NAB is an anti-corruption organization in Pakistan.
• It investigates and takes action against corruption and
financial crimes in public and private sectors.

8. Pakistan Rangers (PR)
• Pakistan ranger is a paramilitary force operating in various
province.
• Responsible for maintaining law and order along the
country’s boarders, combating smuggling, and assisting the
counterterrorism operation.

• Each province has its own police force such as Kp police,
Punjab police, Baluchistan police, and Sindh police.
• These police department are responsible for maintaining
law and order and investigating crimes.

11. Counter Terrorism Department (CTD)
• The CTD is tasked with investigating and combating
terrorism-related crimes including identifying and
neutralizing terrorist network.

12. Criminal Investigation Department (CID)
• Each province in Pakistan has its own CID, which is
responsible for investigating serious crimes and conducting
intelligence operations.

13. Anti-corruption Establishment (ACE)
• Each province has its own department responsible for
investigating and preventing corruption in government and
public department.
