This document discusses leadership challenges in a hybrid workplace after the pandemic. It highlights that remote work has been successful for many employees and employers. While remote work provides benefits like work-life balance and savings, leaders face challenges like maintaining productivity, motivation and a sense of belonging for remote employees. Managing teams virtually requires different skills around communication, inclusion and social connection. Moving forward, companies are considering hybrid models that balance remote and in-office work, but optimizing this requires investments in tools and training leaders for virtual management.

FABERNOVEL INSTITUTE and BAP are releasing the results of a study about collaboration that reviews its practices and standards. The survey was conducted among 50 French and international companies between February and April 2018.
Collaboration is not a new concept. It's been 15 years that its Google Trends curve oscillates slightly but keeps the same dynamics. First used in the field of learning, the word "collaboration" is experiencing - thanks to the emergence of the new economy and its actors, GAFA, unicorns and start-ups - a certain rebirth. The first result of the survey shows that for 80% of respondents, collaboration is beneficial to the company.
The study both questions some mainstream ideas that still exist and shows that the digital revolution has succeeded in spreading its practices to large organizations.

Do your benefits align with your organization’s values and connect your employees to your mission? In a 2017 survey, polling organization Gallup found that only 41 percent of U.S. employees said that they knew what their company stands for. The same research showed that a 10 percent improvement in this understanding led to an 8.1 percent decrease in turnover and a 4.4 percent increase in profitability.

Some think working remotely is a terrible setting that takes control away and let's employees stay at home and be useless. Others find that remote work increases overall productivity and lowers the need to micromanage.
And both sides might be correct as remote work, like all other structures, work really well for some and make others crazy.
The only thing that we can say for certain is that telecommuting is increasingly popular and there are problems you need to face to make it work.

This session will focus on how early career discovery during the college planning process can better prepare students for this new career reality, including tools for developing expertise in project settings aligned to the student’s aptitudes and interests.
Are you struggling to capture the attention of your global employee base? Would you like your training to be more interactive and engaging?

Know Your Workforce: Align Your Learning Program With Employee NeedsHuman Capital Media
Employee engagement is the No. 1 concern for today's C-suite, and learning and development teams are feeling the pressure. Workplace technology is evolving, the millennial workforce is expanding, and the war for talent is more competitive than ever.
Change is coming from every direction. But many L&D leaders are unsure how to meet these demands, and design learning programs that respond to the quickly evolving needs of today's workforce.
Alex Khurgin, Grovo's director of learning, will lay out the challenges converging on organizations, along with a strategy for how L&D can come to the rescue.
In this webinar, we will discuss:
The most important forces redefining the modern workplace.
Why L&D has a historic opportunity to meet the needs of the organizations and its employees.
How to align and engage employees with an innovative approach to learning.
The big question when it comes to social media and business is, "What's the return on investment?" The better question is, "What's the risk of NOT investing?"

Understanding User Needs and Satisfying ThemAggregage
https://www.productmanagementtoday.com/frs/26903918/understanding-user-needs-and-satisfying-them
We know we want to create products which our customers find to be valuable. Whether we label it as customer-centric or product-led depends on how long we've been doing product management. There are three challenges we face when doing this. The obvious challenge is figuring out what our users need; the non-obvious challenges are in creating a shared understanding of those needs and in sensing if what we're doing is meeting those needs.
In this webinar, we won't focus on the research methods for discovering user-needs. We will focus on synthesis of the needs we discover, communication and alignment tools, and how we operationalize addressing those needs.
Industry expert Scott Sehlhorst will:
• Introduce a taxonomy for user goals with real world examples
• Present the Onion Diagram, a tool for contextualizing task-level goals
• Illustrate how customer journey maps capture activity-level and task-level goals
• Demonstrate the best approach to selection and prioritization of user-goals to address
• Highlight the crucial benchmarks, observable changes, in ensuring fulfillment of customer needs
