techniques
 Use persuasive language in your advertisement ( it will make
people to buy your product of service)
 Use creative language (figures of speech and a catchy headline) to
get the readers/viewers attention.
 Use visual effects like pictures, photographs, cartoons and
drawings.
 Interesting and eye-catching layout , use different types of fonts
to get the users attention.
 Target market- the group of people the advert is aimed at.
 Emotive and manipulative language : techniques such as
rhetorical questions and repletion are used to persuade people to
buy the product or service.
AIDA principle
 A-ttention: grab the
attention of the consumer
 I-nterest: arouse and
maintain the consumers
interest
 D-esire: create a desire to
own the advertised product
 A-ction: manipulate the
consumer into taking action
