• Administrating is an art in it’s self. There are several
  small decisions that must be made about content,
  wording ,format , placement.
• Preparation of questions for surveys there are three
  areas involved in writing a questions

 Determining the question content ,scope ,purpose

Choosing the response format that you use for
 collecting information from the respondent

Figuring out how to word the question to get at the
 issue of interest
• Feasibility of the survey. below are some factors
a. COSTS
    it is often the chief determining factor in selecting survey type
.interviewer cost , high cost for training . prefer to send out an wide
ranging mailing but cannot afford the postage to do so.
b. FACILITIES
   in telephone interview ,have well resourced phone , have equipment
needed to record and write down responses
c. TIME
  some type of surveys are longer than normal , mail survey ,
personal interview….
d. PERSONNEL
  interviewer who are motivated & well skilled. some studies
may be in a methodological area that requires some degree of
proficiency in the interviewer.
