Through targeted ads offering a free sulfur mask sample, they gained 41,000 fans by November, exceeding their goal. The offer spread virally with over 1,000 shares on Twitter and 500 on Facebook. AcneFree's "People Talking About This" metric exceeded their page likes, higher than competitors. They now have nearly 90,000 fans while spending under $1100 on advertising.
