8. The electric energy production process in Greece takes place in: A) power plants burning fossil fuel, such as lignite (brown coal), natural gas or crude oil.

9. and B) by using alternative energy sources, such as: wind power solar power hydropower

10. Contribution of Energy sources for electric power production in Greece Lignite 60% Hydroelectric power 6% Natural gas 25% Crude oil 6% alternative sources: wind, sun 3%
