INTRODUCTION

 In the past two hundred years, over one
million Americans have died for their country.
 Abortion is one of the most controversial and
  important subjects of this generation.
 I surveyed 22 people and from all of them
only 7 were against abortion, 12 were for
  abortion, and 3 were undecided.
1. WHEN DOES THE UNBORN BABY’S HEART
BEGIN TO BEAT?

 The heart beats begins between the 18th
    and 25th day.

                      At 3.5 weeks the fetus:
                      will have formed the heart
                      begins development of the
                      brain and spinal cord
                      starts forming the
                      gastrointestinal tract.
2. WHEN DOES THE BRAIN BEGIN TO
FUNCTION?
 40 days.
3. HOW EARLY CAN A BABY SURVIVE OUTSIDE
THE MOTHER’S WOMB?
 Currently 20 weeks is considered the
accepted minimum. However, this time will
be reduced as medical technology continues
    to improve.
TYPES OF ABORTION PROCEDURES

 Manual Vacuum Aspiration: a syringe is
used to suction out tissue which causes
    abortion.

 Electric Vacuum Aspiration: an electric
pump is used to suction the tissue out.
 Dilation and Evacuation: it uses a spoon-
shaped knife, or curette, to ensure that all the
placental tissues are removed by scraping the
    uterine walls.
 Hysterectomy Abortion: it is a cesarean
    section to terminate a pregnancy.
 Prostaglandin: A hormone is injected into
the mother’s uterine muscle and produces
violent contractions. The baby is either
crushed to death by the contractions or
delivered barely alive and left to die.
 Intracardiac Injection: pinpoints the location
of the baby’s heart using ultrasound. A long
needle, filled with fluid, is then injected into
the heart causing an immediate heart attack.
SUMMARIZE

 Abortion is one of the most debatable and
controversial issues that exist today in our
  society.
 No matter, how we persuade ourselves,
every woman that decides to put an end to
her pregnancy understands that it is wrong.
 When abortion is done, it is in fact the end
of life of a human being that already can feel
  and think.
