This document discusses developing probabilistic time and cost data for construction activities by focusing on field conditions and labor productivity. It examines factors that influence labor productivity and different methods for measuring productivity. The researchers collected productivity data from construction sites for repetitive concrete pouring activities under various field conditions. They then used a probabilistic approach to develop time and cost estimates for these activities based on the collected productivity data. This allows for more accurate duration and cost predictions for individual construction projects compared to average industry productivity data. The developed time and cost data could potentially be used for cost and schedule management of construction projects.
