This study evaluated the effectiveness of the I-LEARN information literacy model compared to a traditional model. Students in a speech communication class were randomly assigned to either receive instruction using I-LEARN (experimental group) or the traditional model (control group). Results found that while the experimental group scored higher than the control group immediately after instruction, there was no difference between the groups one month later. The study concluded that I-LEARN shows initial effectiveness but longer-term retention is unclear, and more practice with information literacy concepts is needed throughout college.香港六合彩

The King's College London library services will launch a new training program in 2012 to support students and staff conducting systematic reviews. The 3-hour courses will provide an overview of systematic reviews and involve demonstrations of database searching, analysis of search strategies, and exercises to help students document their search process. The courses aim to teach the search and documentation aspects of systematic reviews, complementing the statistics training students receive elsewhere. Pilot sessions will be held in November and December before the full program launches in the new year.

The King's College London library services will launch a new training program in 2012 to support students and staff conducting systematic reviews. The 3-hour courses will provide an overview of systematic reviews and involve demonstrations of database searching, analysis of search strategies, and exercises to help students document their search process. The courses aim to teach the search and documentation aspects of systematic reviews, complementing the statistics training students receive elsewhere. Pilot sessions will be held in November and December before the full program launches in the new year.

Progression At Pupil, School And National Levels
