It emphasizes the increasing risks of extreme rainfall due to climate change, particularly in rapidly urbanizing areas that lack sufficient historical rainfall data. The research employs rainfall data from 23 years to construct IDF curves for various return periods, crucial for designing urban infrastructure to mitigate flooding risks.
