The document discusses the Chinese word "guo" which is used to ask if something has been experienced or done before. It provides examples of using "guo" in sentence structures with a subject, verb, and object to ask questions like "Have you ever learned Chinese?" or "Have we been to this place before?". It demonstrates that "guo" alone can be used to express if something has happened previously, similar to using "ever" or "before" in English questions.

1. English meaning:
過 (guo) is used to talk about whether something has ever happened
- whether it has been experienced. In English, if you're asking a
question and really trying to figure out if someone has ever done
something before, we tend to use the words "ever" and "before." In
Chinese, 過 (guo) alone expresses this, without the need for
additional words.
