1) The study investigated the quality and strength properties of clay bricks commercially produced in six Nigerian states - Abuja, Akure, Edo, Lagos, Oyo, and Port Harcourt. 72 clay bricks and soil samples were tested for sieve analysis, organic content, and compressive strength.
2) Test results showed compressive strengths between 1.509N/mm2 and 13.43N/mm2, except for one sample from Akure. Nigerian standards require a minimum of 2.5N/mm2 for load-bearing bricks.
