This document describes a study on developing a high accuracy solar tracking system. The system uses both an optical method with feedback sensors and an astronomical method using location and time data to calculate the sun's position. It combines these methods to track the sun with errors of less than 1 degree and 1 second. The system was built for under $1000 using off-the-shelf software and components. It achieved concentrated sunlight output through an optical fiber, demonstrating its accuracy in tracking the sun.

to assess the availability of solar energy arriving on the earth, measurement of solar radiation at some locations
is essential. From measurements, empirical models are developed to predict the availability of solar energy at
other locations.[8] The common, commercial pyranometer design uses a thermopile, setting up a voltage
proportional to the radiation based on temperature readings. This necessitates temperature

direct and diffuse components to great accuracy can be measured. Pyranometer is basically just comprised of

Propellantless propulsion is believed to be the best option for interstellar travel. However, photon rockets or solar sails have thrusts so low that maybe only nano-scaled spacecraft may reach the next star within our lifetime using very high-power laser beams. Following into the footsteps of earlier breakthrough propulsion programs, we are investigating different concepts based on non-classical/revolutionary propulsion ideas that claim to be at least an order of magnitude more efficient in producing thrust compared to photon rockets. Our intention is to develop an excellent research infrastructure to test new ideas and measure thrusts and/or artefacts with high confidence to determine if a concept works and if it does how to scale it up. At present, we are focusing on two possible revolutionary concepts: The EMDrive and the Mach-Effect Thruster. The first concept uses microwaves in a truncated cone-shaped cavity that is claimed to produce thrust. Although it is not clear on which theoretical basis this can work, several experimental tests have been reported in the literature, which warrants a closer examination. The second concept is believed to generate mass fluctuations in a piezo-crystal stack that creates non-zero time-averaged thrusts. Here we are reporting first results of our improved thrust balance as well as EMDrive and Mach-Effect thruster models. Special attention is given to the investigation and identification of error sources that cause false thrust signals. Our results show that the magnetic interaction from not sufficiently shielded cables or thrusters are a major factor that needs to be taken into account for proper μN thrust measurements for these type of devices.

SATELLITE DISH POSITIONING CONTROL BY DC MOTOR USING IR REMOTE CONTROL IAEME Publication
In this paper, PIC microcontroller was designed to develop a satellite dish positioning system which can be operated by using a remote control. The main point of using a dish is to receive signal from satellites and other broadcasting sources. In order to get the exact angle of position of the dish, it needs to be adjusted manually. In order to overcome the difficulty of adjusting manually, this paper helps in adjusting the position of the dish through a remote control. Remote control acts as a transmitter whose data is received by an IR receiver which is interfaced to a microcontroller of PIC 16F877A. The remote control sends coded data to the receiver whose output is then sent to the microcontroller.

Two Axes Sun Tracking System for Heliostat in Algeriaijeei-iaes
In this paper, using Proteus software, sun tracking system with two axes program has developed
and simulated for site of GHARDAIA, in the south of ALGERIA. Two direct current motors have used to
move heliostat in North–South and East–West axis polar, in order to tracking the sun path.In addition, the
distinction between day and night has provided by light dependent resistor (LDR).An algorithm of two axes
sun tracking system hab developed and simulated under Proteus software, after DC motor’s parameters
have verified and simulated under MATLAB software. The results show that: in the first, the development
of the heliostat control requires the knowledge of the position of each heliostat relative to the tower to
ensure the proper operation of the motors, and the uniformity of the reflected beam to the target. Then the
choice of the drive motors is based on the useful power, including the weight of the heliostat, and all efforts
affects on operation of motors in different seasons of the year, like the wind. And The position of the
heliostat depends of chopper duty cycle. Finally,Conducting a power tower with mobile heliostats requires a
techno-economic study on all components (heliostats, tower...) of the plant, for example weather two

Development of a solar radiation sensor system with pyranometerIJECEIAES
Solar energy is a result of the nuclear fusion process in the form of a series of thermonuclear events that occur in the Sun's core. Solar radiation has a significant impact on the lives of all living things on earth. The uses, as mentioned earlier, are when the solar radiation received requires a certain amount and vice versa. As a result, a more accurate instrument of solar radiation is required. A specific instrument is typically used to measure solar radiation parameters. There are four solar radiation parameters: diffusion radiation, global radiation, direct radiation, and solar radiation duration. Thus, it needs to use many devices to measure radiation data. The paper designs to measure all four-radiation data by pyranometer with particular modification and shading device. This design results have a high correlation with a global standard with a value of R=0.73, diffusion with a value of R=0.60 and a sufficiently strong direct correlation with a value of R=0.56. It can be said that the system is much simpler, making it easier to monitor and log the various solar radiation parameters.
Design and implementation of smart electronic solar tracker based on ArduinoTELKOMNIKA JOURNAL
Demand of energy increases in the global and exponential exhaustion is favored of resources by

energies, the specialist sun energy is the most bountiful energy and it's typically easy to be changed into
electrical energy. The main thing of using solar panel is to produce electrical energy from sun's energy but
the optimum energy can be generated by tracking solar panel due to the sun movement from east to west.
The problem can be solved by proposed systems where the sun tracking by solar panel that based on high

that for method of fixed panel array which is less efficient. The microcontroller Arduino (mode UNO) was
programmed by using C++ language while the track of sun light processing was implemented by using

Design and performance evaluation of a solar tracking panel of single axis in...IJECEIAES
This paper presents the mechanical design of a single axis solar tracking system, as well as the electronic design of a system that to record in real time the electric power delivered by the solar tracker and to evaluate its performance. The interface was developed in Labview and it compares the power supplied by the tracker with the power supplied by static solar panel of the same characteristics. The performance is initially simulated using Pv-Syst software, and later validated with the data obtained by the interface. As a result, the use of the solar tracker increases the power delivered by a minimum of 19%, and it can go as high as 47.84%, with an average in increase in power of 19.5% in the monthly energy production. This experimental result was compared with the simulation by Pv-Syst software and shows a difference of only 2.5%, thus validating the reliability of the simulation. This behavior pattern coincides with previous studies carried out for equatorial latitudes.
Optimization of photovoltaic energy by a microcontroller saad motahhir
One of the major challenges of all nations today is to find new energy sources to meet the needs for continued growth in Energy Term. The conversion of sunlight into electricity via photovoltaic solar cells is becoming a necessity in particular through the observation of a global evolution in clean energy that respects the environment. The main challenge is to optimize as much as possible the cost / energy ($/watt) ratio thus boosting both energy performance and at the same time take full advantage of the sun's rays throughout the day.In this context the sun trackers are such devices for efficiency improvement.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

ABSTRACT: Solar trackers play a central role in concentrating the sun light into an optical
fiber where at one end of fiber, a high-density light beam could emerge for indoor illumination,
high suns PV applications. Many solar trackers have been developed in the market but they are
relatively expensive and high accuracy of trackers may pose long term reliability problems. A
key component of the motion controller of trackers is the software, where flexibility, easy-of-
use and integration with other I/O ports are parameters for consideration. In this paper, we
demonstrate that a cost-effective solution with the off-the-shell software, such as the LabVIEW.
It offers solution with excellent accuracy in tracking as well as the output concentration in the
fiber reaching up to 200 suns. The tracker system takes advantage of global positioning data
(GPS) for the geographical location before applying the simultaneous controls such as the open
and closed loop operations. The closed loop feedback control with CdS sensors proves
effective in making real time corrections for gear backlashes or under an adverse disturbances
arising from strong winds, etc.
