The problem confronting roads in Nigeria is increasing immensely. It is ranging from folding or deflection of road surface and cracking due to improper investigation, soil stabilization and consolidation. Soil stabilization is of great importance because it is used to improve on site materials to create a solid and strong sub base and base coarses. Unsatisfactory soil and solids structures which do not have the desired quality as an engineering material need stabilization so as to improve its engineering material for better construction. This work is aimed at determining structural analysis of stabilization and consolidation settlement of soil structure interaction. This is done to ascertain the effect of soil stabilization of selected laterite using cement, lime and bitumen. Liquid limit test, compaction test, Plastic limit test and California Bearing Ratio CBR test were conducted using comparing Mechanical, Chemical, Cement and Bio Enzymatic stabilization method. It was observed that Cement stabilization is the best option as it could effectively implemented in this work. Ohaofia soil that is treated with 10 ordinary Portland cement can be recommended to be used as Base coarse for road construction. This is because its mixture satisfies both the strength and durability requirement that were set by different agencies for the Base coarse materials. While for Isikwuato soil was treated with 8 bitumen is recommended for Road Sub base surface as it gave the highest CBR value. It is observed that Lime is not a good stabilizer for road construction, but the CBR value achieved met up required standard for Road and Bridges. Based on the various results obtained, it is recommended that utilization of the locally available soil should be given due consideration for upcoming road construction within the study area and Cement stabilization is more suitable for road construction. Self compacting concrete for slip form pavingeSAT Journals
Abstract Slip form paving has been extensively used worldwide for construction of pavements. During the process of paving, concrete mix with a slump less than 50 mm is placed in front of a paver. Because of the low consistency of the mix, a great deal of vibration is needed to move entrapped air and compact the concrete. There is a need to overcome problem by designing a concrete that would not require vibration to compact the concrete mix, at the same time stability after extrusion and high flexural strength. Mix design based on the absolute volume concept was adopted to fabricate SFSCC. Volume of paste of 0.38 and water content of 200 kg/m3 was kept constant throughout the study. Cement content was varied from 360 to 425 kg/m3, 3 mixes of SCC with GGBS (SFSCC-S), 3 mixes of SCC with 2% of alccofine replaced by cement (SFSCC-SA) and 3 mixes of SCC with 2% of metakaolin replaced by cement (SFSCC-SM) is reported. The quantity of polypropylene fibers used in all the mixes was 900 gm/m3. Slump, spread, green strength and compaction factor were evaluated for all the 9 mixes. To simulate the practical construction process, a mini paver system was fabricated. The strength parameters compressive and flexural strength of concrete was evaluated at 7 days and 28 days. Roads are the lifeline of the nation and hence a road must be of better quality which could make effective land access possible. According to a research conducted in Sri Lanka, if you want to rescue a village from poverty, 10-20 years of educational subsidy might not work, but if the same amount of money is funneled on road infrastructure development, you can see results within 2 years. An effective road network ensures efficient delivery of goods and transportation of people, directly contributing to the economic growth of the region. Due to economic reasons in developing nations like India, it is not possible to make paved roads especially in rural areas. These areas are mostly connected by the use of unpaved roads called as earth road or soil roads. But there are many problems associated in building these roads particularly like deterioration of the surface usually by rutting and formation of potholes, dusty in dry state and muddy during wet state. The basis of this report is to make aware about the non-traditional soil stabilization technique using Probase SH-85 Soil Hardener for hardening soil of any type and TX-85 Soil Stabilizer & Strengthener for stabilizing unstable soil and at last sealing it by spraying with Probase PB-65 Soil Sealant on soil surface. The Probase Road System ensures making soil road no longer dusty and muddy. These products are free from toxins and are environmental friendly unlike bitumen, soil-cement, lime and asphalt roads. Probase soil stabilizer will hence not only help in stabilizing the soil but will also reduce maintenance and construction cost, along with ensuring that the roads remain open and well operational in rainy season and dust-free in dry season that is to make it an all-weather road.
Time, in the globalized world, is one of the most important factors about the economy, science and health. Mankind has made various efforts to use time efficiently for many years. In these studies transport came to the fore and it has become indispensable. In the light of today's technological conditions, air transport is developing at an increasing rate. Every day many aircrafts are produced, which have different speeds, weight and volume, for serve to transport. Therefore to make structures for easy and safe transport need a stable soil. Particularly suitable areas for the airport grounds in cities today, not being physically proper that construction of the airport made on soil with low bearing capacity, swelling potential of an expansive soil, settlement of soil etc, areas. In this study, soil problems encountered in the construction of airports will be explained and a summary of studies on the solution of these problems will be presented.

Optimizing system design significantly boosted power generation, promoted renewable energy utilization, and enhanced energy storage capacity. The study underscored the benefits of optimizing hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems for sustainable energy usage. Optimizing the design of solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems as examined across diverse climatic conditions in a developing country, not only enhances power generation but also improves the integration of renewable energy sources and boosts energy storage capacities, particularly beneficial for less economically prosperous regions. Additionally, the study provides valuable insights for advancing energy research in economically viable areas. When a customer search for a automobile, if the automobile is available, they will be taken to a page that shows the details of the automobile including automobile name, automobile ID, quantity, price etc. “Automobile Management System” is useful for maintaining automobiles, customers effectively and hence helps for establishing good relation between customer and automobile organization. It contains various customized modules for effectively maintaining automobiles and stock information accurately and safely.
When the automobile is sold to the customer, stock will be reduced automatically. When a new purchase is made, stock will be increased automatically. While selecting automobiles for sale, the proposed software will automatically check for total number of available stock of that particular item, if the total stock of that particular item is less than 5, software will notify the user to purchase the particular item.
Also when the user tries to sale items which are not in stock, the system will prompt the user that the stock is not enough. Customers of this system can search for a automobile; can purchase a automobile easily by selecting fast. On the other hand the stock of automobiles can be maintained perfectly by the automobile shop manager overcoming the drawbacks of existing system.
