of data like groups of students or certain schools to make inferences that help me make decisions for

Many of the sources refer to triangulation in the social and behavioral sciences as well, which refers
to the use of more than one research method to analyze a set of data. In my research on the
usefulness or effectiveness of high–stakes testing, I will refer to many methods of data collection.
Some might include anecdotal observations while others might be surveys and still others might be
test results. A utilization of these different methods to make one inference would be using

study or any set of data. This is something that I did in my review of "The Impact of High–Stakes
Tests on Student Academic Performance: An Analysis of NAEP Results in States With High–Stakes
Tests and ACT, SAT, and AP Test Results in States With High School Graduation Exams." I wrote
"although much has changed since this article was published, the data presented through surveys and
national testing data suggest a correlation between high–stakes testing and factors such as student
performance, teacher retention, and student dropout rates." In this case, I evaluated the timeliness

Guardianship Association (NGA) (p. 1275).
Introduction. The authors study the meaning of term "standard". Some dictionaries determine the

negligence. The authors analyzes principles and guidance of NGA standards, and frequent mistakes

Finally he may have even thought that Bryan would be easily influenced by thinking no one would

During this short summer class, I have understood more than I ever could have done before. Not
only because the study of ethics is crucial, but also because being socially responsible is part of
being ethical. Among the most important assignments required from this course are: Journals,

own code of ethics; from there, students were required to follow it as part of the course.
Once our instructor processed all the information provided, she decided to post it, and I would like

I will read carefully and refrain from rushing to judgment (the J word is so powerful that sometimes

This paper explores related research in aspects of language acquisition, specifically, reading
instruction and its effect on students who live in low socioeconomic environments. We will review
the methods of explicit phonics and whole language to examine what, if any, is the more
advantageous method of reading instruction for students who live in poverty. The purpose of this
literature review is to investigate the impacts of specific reading instruction on the literacy
development of children and how socioeconomics restricts these impacts. The research reviewed
was collected from peer review journals using the Central Search feature on the UCO Chambers
Library website. The majority of the researcher's findings came from EBSCOhost Education
Research Complete and JSTOR: Journal Storage. Given the findings of this literature review,
research suggests that explicit phonics instruction, when embedded in a whole language classroom,
promotes growth in literacy skills among young children. Research suggests that multisensory
phonics, based on Orton–Gillingham Approach, promotes literacy growth for students who are at–

For the ones who didn't make it, they would have to wait another year to try again. I just thought all
these rules or regulations were stupid and ridiculous. An example would be the nursing students who
couldn't get into upper division and would have to wait another year. I feel like they worked so hard
and spent all the time to try to get into the upper division and then for them to tell the students that
they didn't get in, is unbelievable. After all that nonsense, I decided to change my major to
psychology. I am not going to lie, at first I didn't want to major in psychology because I wasn't

This memo concerns my ethics and sales assignment for ABM 222. In this memo I will discuss the
importance of ethics in a sales role. I will also discuss when stretching the truth is acceptable or not
and the different ways I would react to unethical practices.
I believe that ethics can exist in a commission only bases sales position. Not only does business

It may be hard in certain circumstances to not stretch the truth, but I think it shouldn't happen. There
is a lot of risk involved with stretching the truth. When speaking with a customer, a sales person
should be honest with the things they are guaranteeing the customer. If a customer were to ask for
something that I am not entirely sure my company or me can complete I think it is best to be honest.
You can tell the customer, "I am not 100% sure about your question at the moment. I will absolutely
check with my boss and get back to you." Not only are you making sure the customer is getting
what they want, but you are being honest in the process. If I were to tell the customer that I could do
something for them, when in fact I can't I could lose the trust of the customer, which in turn will lose
business. Another thing that I thought about is the fact that sometimes lies play off of each other. I
think stretching the truth and lying are very related. If a sales representative were to stretch the truth
and potentially lie to a customer it could cause a ripple effect that continues with lies because the
sales representative can't uphold the first lie they made. In any situation, it is ethical to be honest.

B.1.c counselor has to respect the rights of all clients to confidentiality and cannot share the

Response
My reaction to the video at first was "This is a long video" then I began to really listen to what they
were talking about and reflect on what they were saying and how it applies to me right now. I began
to change my thought process on how serious this really is. Now believe me I know how important
it is because I work in the field every day, but it made me want to make sure that I'm doing the right

My Life Of My Mother
Literacy has always been close to my identity as a person. My mother wanted the best for her
children, and therefore would sing and read to us as soon as we were born. She encouraged out love
of words and books by taking us to the library for reading time and always seemed to find the most
amazing books for us to explore. My mother is very musically gifted, so songs were part of our daily
routine. There are still little songs that pop into my head about daily tasks that she created to help us
learn and make work and learning fun. When I grew a bit older, around the age of four, my mother
formed a group with other women in our neighborhood to form a preschool. They used the Joy
School curriculum and took turns having all of us over to their homes so that we could learn and
play together. I remember there was lots of music, reading many books, playing all sorts of games,
and a yearly Christmas program. Around this time, I began to learn about phonics and loved figuring
out which letters made which sounds. My mother tells me that I liked to rhyme a lot as a little child
because I found it fun. She said she thinks this is when my love of poetry started to develop. As I
transitioned into early elementary school, I was well prepared to enter Kindergarten. Because I have
always been pretty independent and self–driven, my mother did not really have to push me to read. I
