3. INTRODUCTION
This report aims to shed light on some of
the structural and operational defects
facing the College of Engineering and
Computer Building, which negatively
affect the quality of education, research,
and services at the College. This report
classifies these defects into two main
types: structural defects and operational
defects, and proposes some possible
solutions to address them.
5. Structural defects
There are no
board in some
classrooms
There is no escalator
connecting the
different floors
The lack of suitable asphalt parking for cars
6. OPERATIONAL DEFECTS
The presence of few and
limited classes of
academic subjects
The lack of fast and stable
internet throughout
There is a problem
of crowding during
exams, as it is
difficult to provide
sufficient and
appropriate halls to
accommodate all
students
Lack of tools and
equipment in scientific
and technical laboratories
The lack of
smart desks in
classrooms
The lack of backup
electricity in the event
of a power outage
8. report recommends the following actions:
From the above, it is clear that the College of
Engineering and Computer building suffers from many
structural and operational defects that need to be
urgently addressed, in order to improve the education,
9. Paving and expanding
parking lots and equipping
them with the necessary
lighting, barriers and signs.
Installing a moving staircase or
escalator that facilitates
movement between different
floors
Providing fast and stable internet
throughout the building,
equipping classrooms with smart
lamps and healthy projectors
Increasing the number of
classrooms and classrooms
for different subjects, and
organizing exam schedules in
a way that prevents conflicts
and crowding.
Renewing and developing
scientific and technical
laboratories, and providing them
with the necessary tools and
equipment for practical and
research learning.

10. This report hopes that it has contributed to highlighting some structural
and operational defects that need to be urgently addressed, and that it
has provided some possible and appropriate solutions to achieve this.
