This document summarizes the author's experience studying abroad in Germany through K.I.I.S., a non-profit consortium of colleges. The program included classroom sessions and excursions focused on German philosophy, music, architecture, and literature from the 17th to 19th centuries. Notable sites visited included the Jewish Museum, Sansoucci Palace, and Sachsenhausen. The author reflects that the experience solidified their German education, exposed them to European politics and history, and encouraged their interest in international relations. Their career goals are to explore solutions to global issues and challenges by experiencing different cultures, both past and present.
