CW RADAR, FMCW RADAR, FMCW ALTIMETER, AND THEIR PARAMETERSveerababupersonal22
It consists of cw radar and fmcw radar ,range measurement,if amplifier and fmcw altimeterThe CW radar operates using continuous wave transmission, while the FMCW radar employs frequency-modulated continuous wave technology. Range measurement is a crucial aspect of radar systems, providing information about the distance to a target. The IF amplifier plays a key role in signal processing, amplifying intermediate frequency signals for further analysis. The FMCW altimeter utilizes frequency-modulated continuous wave technology to accurately measure altitude above a reference point.
Using recycled concrete aggregates (RCA) for pavements is crucial to achieving sustainability. Implementing RCA for new pavement can minimize carbon footprint, conserve natural resources, reduce harmful emissions, and lower life cycle costs. Compared to natural aggregate (NA), RCA pavement has fewer comprehensive studies and sustainability assessments.
Hierarchical Digital Twin of a Naval Power SystemKerry Sado
A hierarchical digital twin of a Naval DC power system has been developed and experimentally verified. Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. The hierarchical decomposition and models utilized were well aligned with the physical twin, as indicated by the maximum deviations between the developed digital twin hierarchy and the hardware.
The Internet of Things (IoT) is a revolutionary concept that connects everyday objects and devices to the internet, enabling them to communicate, collect, and exchange data. Imagine a world where your refrigerator notifies you when you’re running low on groceries, or streetlights adjust their brightness based on traffic patterns – that’s the power of IoT. In essence, IoT transforms ordinary objects into smart, interconnected devices, creating a network of endless possibilities.
Here is a blog on the role of electrical and electronics engineers in IOT. Let's dig in!!!!

NUMERICAL SIMULATIONS OF HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER IN CONDENSING HEAT EXCHANGERS...ssuser7dcef0
Power plants release a large amount of water vapor into the
atmosphere through the stack. The flue gas can be a potential
source for obtaining much needed cooling water for a power
plant. If a power plant could recover and reuse a portion of this
moisture, it could reduce its total cooling water intake
requirement. One of the most practical way to recover water
from flue gas is to use a condensing heat exchanger. The power
plant could also recover latent heat due to condensation as well
as sensible heat due to lowering the flue gas exit temperature.
Additionally, harmful acids released from the stack can be
reduced in a condensing heat exchanger by acid condensation. reduced in a condensing heat exchanger by acid condensation.
Condensation of vapors in flue gas is a complicated
phenomenon since heat and mass transfer of water vapor and
various acids simultaneously occur in the presence of noncondensable
gases such as nitrogen and oxygen. Design of a
condenser depends on the knowledge and understanding of the
heat and mass transfer processes. A computer program for
numerical simulations of water (H2O) and sulfuric acid (H2SO4)
condensation in a flue gas condensing heat exchanger was
developed using MATLAB. Governing equations based on
mass and energy balances for the system were derived to
predict variables such as flue gas exit temperature, cooling
water outlet temperature, mole fraction and condensation rates
of water and sulfuric acid vapors. The equations were solved
using an iterative solution technique with calculations of heat
and mass transfer coefficients and physical properties.

33. How do we meet your
requirements ?
• Proven Infrastructure
• ECi M1 ERP Software
ECi M1 is a complete enterprise resource planning (ERP)
system that provides total automation of financials,
inventory, production, sales/quoting, and production
planning. The software is designed for small to midsized
firms who manufacture via repetitive, make-to-stock,
make-to-order, engineer-to-order processes.
We have worked closely with M1 over the past 8 years to
develop our own tailor made package which best suits
both ourselves and our customers needs
The system can allow for linking directly to your host to
allow a clear view of your current orders.
34. Engineering Capacity
• We have an excellent engineering department with many years
experience
• We have long established disciplines in our Quality System
which has driven our team to ensure that all aspects of the job
are well detailed at the planning stage and consideration is
given to both the tooling and inspection requirements of the
component
• All parts undergo an extensive contract review before the part
is released for manufacture, our engineers will communicate
with your own engineers to ensure the best practices are
worked to and any known traits are handed over from your
own experience
• Our M1 system allows for us to initiate and record any
engineering change requests which may occur through quality
issues or possible design change to help reduce manufacturing
costs for the future
36. M1 Shop Load Explorer
Shop loading & Scheduling
• Our M1 system allows us real time visibility of what capacity
we have in any department
37. M1 Scheduling Screen
Shop loading & Scheduling
• M1 further allows us to drill down to each machine and see
is loading
38. Job Analysis Screen
• Individual jobs can hen be broken down further to
allow for individual processes to be monitored
39. Stock Holding
• We can review your components to see what the most
economical batch sizes are for manufacture
• We look to see whether parts may be best part
manufactured thus allowing them to be modified into
more than one component
• Based on our findings we can make provision for holding
these parts on stock at our expense
• This can not only reduce cost and lead time but will allow
for quick delivery of spares items for aftermarket sales
40. Quality
• Denholm’s currently holds ISO 9001:2015 certification
and works to controlled documents and procedures within
that system
• To support that we have a dedicated inspection team of
highly skilled Quality Engineers
• They are equipped with the latest forms of inspection
equipment and gauges
• We currently have a large CMM with a 3.5m table which
will allow us measure your shafts in one position, as a
back up to that we also have Faro gauges which are
portable and may be taken to the job for checking
features on or around the component whilst at or on the
machine thus reducing the need to take large components
out of the machine to inspect critical features
