This document discusses using movements of a flexible office chair as input to control a computer. It defines a basic set of tilting, rotating, and bouncing gestures that can be used to control applications like a web browser or music player. Experimental results found positive user feedback and task performance comparable to using a keyboard or touch input. While all input methods have tradeoffs, chair-based input shows potential as an alternative interaction technique.
