This document outlines the scope and delimitations of a study that aims to determine the effectiveness of using music in a Mathematics Bridge Program for Grade 5 pupils who failed Mathematics. The scope will explore the use of music therapy in the experimental group compared to traditional methods for the control group. It will be conducted at Pateros Catholic School during the 2019-2020 summer term for 50 pupils selected for the study. Pre and post-tests will measure mathematics skills and observations will assess improvement between the two groups. Other pupils, grades, and subjects are excluded from the study.
