Ben McFadyen created a small character for their game project but struggled with the size and proportions at first. They tried to make the background of the forest area more detailed and busy but ran short on time. For the next frame, they added a layer of an abandoned house and used effects to make it look darker the farther away it was. They used drawing tools to make the house look abandoned and mossy. Sounds were added to make the game more interesting, such as when collecting coins or climbing trees. The final product included moving between frames but could have been improved with more time.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

2. Process
• At the start of my project I
needed to make my own
person I di not have much time
because I missed a couple of
lessons. So I did the best I
could in the small amount of
time I had. I made a small
charter that is small enough
with my game I struggled a
little but with the size
formation I tried over and over
again to try and get he size
right the first time it was to big
so I tried again and I got it
right.
3. Process
• I tired to make it as busy as
possible but I did not have
enough time to make I right. I
wanted it to be more busy. I
wanted to have more tress and
make the background more
busy. I wanted to make it look
like a forest area but I did not
have enough time. I tried to
make it as interesting as
possible.
4. Process
• For the next frame I wanted to
make it fade away so I decide
to do it on a different layer. I
made it look like it was darker
the father it went because the
next frame was an abounded
house and my charterer goes
in it. The way I did the was I
did inner glow to make it look
like this.
5. Process
• This is the layer with the
abounded house I did used the
pencil tool on all of the layer. I
used the green pencil tool to make
it look mossy and abounded. I
copped the 1st layer but I removed
the other house. I tried to make
the window looked smashed by
using the black to try and make it
look shartered.
6. Process
• I tried to make this look like a
abounded house but with
everything left inside of it. I
made it the same colour to
make sure nothing looks wrong
with the game. i tried to make
this look like a normal house
but then I did not put satires in
but I did not have time. I made
this the last scene. I made the
finishing bit on the sink.
7. Process
• I put black dots on it to make
there an objective. Such as you
need to collect all of them to
win the game. I put 3 to 4 of
them in each frame.
8. Process
I started to do the frames I made
sure that I got rid of the black dots
when the main charter is going
though then. Also I made sure that
my person does not move to blocky
and made sure that he moved very
slowly.
9. Process
I put some sounds on my game to
make it more interesting also put a
backing sound track to it so it does
not look and sound boring. I also
got some sound effects as well such
as when he is climbing the trees
and when he falls and also when he
picks up the coins.
10. Process
This is the game all put together
without the sound. All tougher it runs
very smoothly but it is not very
interesting without the sound. The
colours are eye catching but the
sound will finish it of.
11. Process
This is my final
product I wanted to
make it better but I
did not have the time
to do so.
