Employability skills are transferable skills that include both technical and soft skills needed to enter, operate, and thrive in the modern workplace. An employability skills framework identified 8 key groupings of skills desired by employers: communication, teamwork, problem solving, initiative and enterprise, planning and organizing, self-management, learning, and technology skills. These skills allow employees to adapt to new situations, work well with others, and continuously learn.
