It probably implies that one's subjective experience can be true, but that such experience is inherently limited by its failure to account for other truths or a totality of truth. At various times the parable has provided insight into the relativism, opaqueness or inexpressible nature of truth, etc. • Behavior of experts in fields or Leader should be:- when there is a deficit or inaccessibility of information or confusion arose. Then need for communication arises and leader should listen to the views of their subordinate as well respect for their different perspectives. • Because moral is “None of your Subordinate Knows Big Elephant”

Doing the Right Thing
Every day we are faced with making decisions. Situations arise that are both planned and unplanned for. Often times the decisions we make will have a direct impact on the bottom line as well as on how the community will perceive our overall brand. When we are faced with making choices and decisions, there are times when stretching the truth, or not telling the truth or behaving in a way that we know is not really correct can lead to a better presentation or end result, but is that doing the right thing? Is doing the right thing so important that if in doing so may cause a less than desirable outcome, is it OK as long as nobody really gets hurt?
In this session, Jay will lead a discussion on the importance of “Doing the Right Thing.” Jay will provide some real case histories from his professional experience and talk about how doing both the wrong and the right thing could have led to different outcomes and what ultimately the decisions were. The goal is for leaders in attendance to think more deeply about what it means to be courageous enough to do the right things and how this could lead to future advancement.

Analysis and synthesis are critical to the application of observational research techniques in a design context, yet are often underrepresented in literature and discussion. What discussion there is often centers on execution of individual methods and practices and the benefits they provide. These in-depth explorations of individual methods are invaluable to us as practitioners, but mastery of any individual method does not lead to mastery of the analytical / synthetic process.
In this workshop, we will investigate the core purpose(s) individual methods serve, how they relate to each other and to the process as a whole. We will seek to establish and evaluate a strawman organizational model describing the analysis / synthesis lifecycle and the value of those activities through discussion of individual methods employed by our cross-disciplinary participants.
Goals and Benefits:
The use of such a organizational model of analysis and synthesis would be:
* -to introduce practitioners to new methods from a variety of academic backgrounds,
* -to illustrate the analytical value that these methods may provide,
* -to enable thoughtful selection of methods appropriate for the problem at hand (based on project goal, time available, data gathered, and other real world constraints),
* -to provide perspective on how individual methods relate to each other, and
* -to better articulate expected outcomes and defend time devoted to analysis and synthesis activities

Plato was an ancient Greek philosopher who founded the Academy in Athens, regarded as the first institution of higher learning in the Western world. He authored many influential works and developed theories like the Theory of Forms, which proposed that the physical world is merely a shadow of the ideal "Forms." Plato also created the Allegory of the Cave to distinguish those who mistake sensory knowledge for truth from those who see the truth. His writings explored virtue ethics and the ideal just state, and examined the tripartite theory that the soul has rational, spirited, and appetitive elements.
CONSCIENCE
Conscience is described as our lived knowledge of good and evil, prompting us to judge our actions as morally right or wrong. It is seen as the inner core where we encounter God and recognize our moral obligations. The Bible references conscience indirectly through concepts like heart, mind, and loins. In the New Testament, conscience is portrayed as a God-given capacity for self-evaluation, a witness, and servant to our value systems. Christian theologians see conscience as the place we encounter God, with Augustine viewing it as the divine center where we are addressed by God.
Doing the Right Thing
Every day we are faced with making decisions. Situations arise that are both planned and unplanned for. Often times the decisions we make will have a direct impact on the bottom line as well as on how the community will perceive our overall brand. When we are faced with making choices and decisions, there are times when stretching the truth, or not telling the truth or behaving in a way that we know is not really correct can lead to a better presentation or end result, but is that doing the right thing? Is doing the right thing so important that if in doing so may cause a less than desirable outcome, is it OK as long as nobody really gets hurt?
In this session, Jay will lead a discussion on the importance of “Doing the Right Thing.” Jay will provide some real case histories from his professional experience and talk about how doing both the wrong and the right thing could have led to different outcomes and what ultimately the decisions were. The goal is for leaders in attendance to think more deeply about what it means to be courageous enough to do the right things and how this could lead to future advancement.

Analysis and synthesis are critical to the application of observational research techniques in a design context, yet are often underrepresented in literature and discussion. What discussion there is often centers on execution of individual methods and practices and the benefits they provide. These in-depth explorations of individual methods are invaluable to us as practitioners, but mastery of any individual method does not lead to mastery of the analytical / synthetic process.
In this workshop, we will investigate the core purpose(s) individual methods serve, how they relate to each other and to the process as a whole. We will seek to establish and evaluate a strawman organizational model describing the analysis / synthesis lifecycle and the value of those activities through discussion of individual methods employed by our cross-disciplinary participants.
Goals and Benefits:
The use of such a organizational model of analysis and synthesis would be:
* -to introduce practitioners to new methods from a variety of academic backgrounds,
* -to illustrate the analytical value that these methods may provide,
* -to enable thoughtful selection of methods appropriate for the problem at hand (based on project goal, time available, data gathered, and other real world constraints),
* -to provide perspective on how individual methods relate to each other, and
* -to better articulate expected outcomes and defend time devoted to analysis and synthesis activities

6. Personal response questions have no single right answer but must relate to the reader's understanding and opinion of the text. Being aware of these question types can help ensure students practice important comprehension skills.

Six Thinking Hats is a self-help book which describes a tool for group discussion and individual thinking involving six colored hats.
