People operations how emotional intelligence can help you scale companies gl...Customer Growth Advisors
I recently presented to two groups of learners, ranging from CEOs to HR Managers in Isreal. They were seeking to learn what role emotional intelligence plays in the workforce. I studied this topic in graduate school and have recently read some great books on this topic that is very interesting to me. Here is my presentation on the topic EQ and how it can effectively help you scale your company.
Leadership Accelerator: Unleashing Potential in Younger Employees.pptxDennis Van Aelst
We recognize that our young professionals possess immense talent, fresh perspectives, and boundless energy. We believe in their potential to become the next generation of exceptional leaders. That's why we have developed this transformative program designed specifically to harness and amplify their abilities.
Human leadership is grounded in self-respect and unconditional love. It comprehends and honors all people’s equal right to equity, dignity and integrity. It recognizes all people for who they are, accepts their unique contribution, treats them with respect and recognizes their value. Even for the toughest of scenarios, it leads with rational compassion to serve everyone right.
This is the 5 steps to master everyday leadership skills, you will discover the topics about learning what leadership skills are, accessing your skills, become self aware, practice courage and move into actions
Developmental conversations are critical for short-term change, but when it comes to reaching long-term goals, traditional leadership development practices can come up short.
To support an executive in their commitment to lasting, impactful change or the achievement of major, lifelong goals, coaches must dig deeper to examine the core drivers – usually subconscious – that have steered the client to their current path. Further, you must help your client uncover whether these deep-seeded drivers are helping or hindering their ability to achieve their goals, and support them in making any changes required of them.
Such broad and deeply personal conversations can be challenging, but with the right tools, they can lead to your most impactful and rewarding engagements.
In this 60-minute session, we will explore the concepts you must understand in order to take your coaching of senior executives to greater depths, including:
- Strategies for achieving long-term goals rather than quick wins
- Opening up the conversation to include an individual’s personal, as well as professional, motivations
- The benefits of a directional approach in support of a developmental approach
- Supporting the client as they challenge themselves, recognize internal contradictions, and question their own assumptions
- Selecting and understanding the assessment tools available for exploring personal drivers
Join MRG’s David Ringwood to explore how you can broaden the coaching conversation with senior executives to support them in making choices that will have a lasting, life-long impact.
Welcome to the Program Your Destiny course. In this course, we will be learning the technology of personal transformation, neuroassociative conditioning (NAC) as pioneered by Tony Robbins. NAC is used to deprogram negative neuroassociations that are causing approach avoidance and instead reprogram yourself with positive neuroassociations that lead to being approach automatic. In doing so, you change your destiny, moving towards unlocking the hypersocial self within, the true self free from fear and operating from a place of personal power and love.
8. Emotional Intelligence
Emotional intelligence (EI) is the capacity of recognizing our own
feelings and those of others, for motivating ourselves, for managing
emotions in ourselves as well as in our relationships .
EI is critical to managing your behavior, moving smoothly
through social situations and making critical choices in life
People with high emotional intelligence are usually
successful in most things they do. Why?
Because they're the ones that others want on their team.
15. If You Don’t Like Something, Change It.
If You Can’t Change it,
Change Your Attitude.
16. SWOT ANALYSIS
SWOT Analysis is a useful technique that helps to identify strengths
and weaknesses, and analysing the opportunities and threats.
What makes SWOT especially powerful is that, with a little thought,
it can help uncover opportunities that would not otherwise have
spotted.
By understanding weaknesses, one can manage and eliminate threats
that might otherwise hurt one’s ability to move forward.
17.
18. STRENGTHS
What advantages do you have that others don't have (for example,
skills, certifications, education, or connections)?
What do you do better than anyone else?
Which of your achievements are you most proud of?
Are you part of a network that no one else is involved in? If so,
what connections do you have with influential people?
Think about your strengths in relation to the people around you.
19. If you are a great mathematician and then
people around you are also great at math's, then
this is not likely to be a strength in your current
role-it may be a necessity.
For example:
20. WEAKNESSES
What tasks do you usually avoid because you don't feel
confident doing them?
What are your negative work habits (for example, are you often
late, are you disorganized, do you have a short temper, or are you
poor at handling stress)?
What would your boss or coworkers say are your weaknesses?
21. OPPORTUNITIES
What new technology can help you?
Is your industry growing? If so, how can you take advantage
of the current market?
Are any of your competitors failing to do something
important? If so, can you take advantage of their mistakes?
Do your customers or vendors complain about something in
your company? If so, could you create an opportunity by
offering a solution?
22. THREATS
What obstacles do you currently face at work?
Are any of your colleagues competing with you for projects or roles?
Is your job (or the demand for the things you do) changing?
Does changing technology threaten your position?
Could any of your weaknesses lead to threats?
23. A model for improving self-awareness, personal
development, group development, understanding
relationship and mutual understanding between
individuals within a group.
It classifies behavior in a matrix from between:
What is known – unknown to self, and what is known –
unknown to others.
JOHARI WINDOW
24. THE FOUR JOHARI WINDOWS
Four quadrant or four window-pane are there. Each contains and
represents the information - feelings, motivation, etc - in terms of
whether the information is known or unknown by the person,
and whether the information is known or unknown by others in
the team.
25.
26. WHY JOHARI WINDOW?
• The model also referred to as a 'disclosure/feedback model of self
awareness', and an 'information processing tool‘.
The ‘hidden self’can be reduced and the ‘open self’can be increased
through the ‘disclosure’process.
Likewise, the 'feedback process’can be used to decrease ‘blind self’
and simultaneously increase the ‘open self’.
27.
28. WHY SOFT SKILLS ARE SO

29. What makes You Unique?
What Are Your Strengths and Weakness?
How Would You Describe Your Personality?
