This paper proposes a cryptographic scheme that combines DNA computing with hyperelliptic curve cryptography (HECC) to enhance security with reduced computational overhead. By integrating DNA encryption, which allows massive data storage in DNA strands, with the more efficient HECC, the method achieves a high level of security using smaller key sizes compared to traditional elliptic curve cryptography (ECC). The results demonstrated that this approach significantly decreases processing time and memory requirements while maintaining security standards.
