This research article summarizes the green synthesis of gold nanoparticles using the leaf extract of Nepenthes khasiana. The synthesized gold nanoparticles were characterized using UV-vis spectrophotometry, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and X-ray diffraction. The results showed that spherical and triangular shaped gold nanoparticles were produced between 50-80 nm in size. The gold nanoparticles demonstrated antimicrobial activity against human pathogenic bacteria and fungi.
