The tomato frog is a small frog found only in Madagascar. Males grow up to 2.5 inches and females up to 3-4 inches. They live in grassy areas with soft substrate to burrow in at temperatures between 64-80 degrees Fahrenheit. The frogs eat various bugs and even small mice. Their bright red color acts as a warning to predators, as the frogs can puff up their eyes and release an unpleasant odor when caught.
