Status on the NAP Process
 Malawi launched the NAP process in 2014, which was
followed by a technical training (Sectoral Experts) and
awareness to decision makers (Permanent Secretaries)
 Completed a stocktaking exercise, developed a NAP process
Roadmap, and established a core team to lead the process.
 This core team is working with sectoral Expert teams in order to
identify medium- to long-term sectoral adaptation priorities.
 Malawi has submitted a NAP formulation proposal to the
Green Climate Fund, which was prepared with technical
support from UNEP (USD 2,938,050).The proposal was
submitted in December 2017
