The UNDP/UNEP National Adaptation Plan Global Support Programme assists least developed countries (LDCs) in developing and implementing National Adaptation Plans (NAPs) to address climate change challenges. This process involves technical support, knowledge exchange, and capacity building, targeting the unique needs of LDCs while promoting participation and institutional coordination. The programme has gained traction since its inception in 2013, with increasing requests for support and ongoing activities aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of adaptation strategies.
