This document describes an Algebra 1 lesson plan that uses a Jeopardy-style game to review content from each chapter. The class will be split into two teams competing to answer questions of varying difficulty levels worth different point values. By making algebra review engaging through a familiar game format, the lesson supports universal design principles by accommodating different learning styles and abilities.

4. OVERVIEW
• I would separate the class into two evenly split teams
• I would organize the columns, or different categories, by each chapter
and rank the easiest problems to the most difficult problems
• The more difficult problems would obviously be worth more and the
team with the most money at the end wins

5. UNIVERSAL DESIGN
• This lesson supports universal design because I am using a fun game
that a lot of kids like and know how to play (jeopardy) to teach my kids
the basics of algebra 1
• By playing this game, my students will be practicing how to approach a
problem step by step to come up with the right answer
