first year of college who are either pursing a career in

THIS RESOURCE
• With this game, I would teach students all the different
definitions that go along with english- subject, verb, all
the way to the complex parts, such as rhetoric.
THIS RESOURCE
• In an attempt to change this game, I would make the
points earned by each question not dependent on the
difficulty of the question. I believe that all parts are
equally important and worth knowing.
UNIVERSAL DESIGN
• This game would go for UDL because it is 100%
interactive. Students would be required to be on their
toes at all times as the points of the problems don’t
depend on the difficulty. They would have to interact with
their team to come to a conclusion, while the teach
would just be monitoring the game and there to clear up
and confusion that could not be done by other students.
JEOPARDY
• Jeopardy makes it so students have the ability to be
involved while communicating to other students as they
are in teams.
• While teaching a first year English course, it is important
to make sure students understand the basic parts of the
English language before moving forward.
• Once the students master the different questions, each
could have the ability to play on their own and see how
well they know the information.
JEOPARDY
• This game benefits a range of students as it is not timed.
• Disabled students have the freedom to take as long as
necessary to come to the answer.
